CARRARO - William (Red) on July 11, 2010 of Malverne, L.I. Beloved husband of Amelia. Devoted father of William (Laura) and the late John. Loving brother of Joseph and the late Mary. Cherished grandfather of Nicholas and Thomas. Funeral entrusted to the Malverne Funeral Home (Anthony J. Walsh & Son) 330 Hempstead Ave., (1/2 mile South S.S. Pkwy., exit 17 So.) Malverne. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass, Thursday, 10:45 a.m. Our Lady of LourdesR.C. Church (Wright Ave.) Malverne. Interment St. Raymonds Cemetery, Bronx. The family would appreciated contribution to the Boys Club of America.

Dear Laura and Bill, Nicholas and Thomas,
I just googled your names to see how you were doing and am happy for how well you are doing, yet sad to see that you lost your father (in-law).
I lost my father 4 years ago to lung cancer. My Dad was born in March 1926. My mother still lives around the block from your mom (in-law).
So, I send hugs and thought it was so great that you wanted contributions sent to the Boys Club in memory of him :)
I am married, living in Lynbrook (2 kids: girl (6) and boy (4).

Amy, I just found out. It had always been
a pleasure to talk to Bill about jazz or
anything else. He was so knowledgable and
a true gentleman. I heard you also lost a
son and I send my sympathy for this, as well.
