What travellers are saying
- FiftyFifty5050Montgomery, UK862 contributionsOur daughter works for Microsoft and, although she has been here for just over three years now, this was only our second trip and the first time we had been able to get to the Visitor Centre, Covid restrictions etc. This therefore might not be the most unbiased of reviews!
My other half is much more into computing and gaming than I am and was fascinated by the history of the company, including exhibits of early computers and tech, especially the Altair 8800, something he knew about but which he had never seen in the flesh.
There were lots of interactive opportunities but, when we were there, these were largely hogged by the younger generation!
There is also a Microsoft Store with branded goods; everything from a pencil, through babygros, clothing, stationery, homewares up to laptops themselves.
I think you do need to have a real interest in the company or some kind of connection to get the most out of the visit, but we found it interesting. The campus was rather quiet, so many employees are not yet back in person post covid, but I can imagine that things would have been absolutely buzzing back in the day.Written 17 March 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. This was a paved path that was popular this day in May. Good for both humans and leashed dogs. Ours definitely got in a good workout and sniffed to his heart’s content.
In this section there also was good shade from many tall trees along the side of the trail. Picnic tables and benches were also randomly placed for resting or eating.
A bridge or two crossed over the river. Besides the Bothell museum, there were kayak rentals, dog park, playground and other activities along the trail.
As we wrapped up our walk as our dog was getting tired, he was intrigued by the tooting of a couple of small steam boats chugging down the river.
Next time we’ll rent bikes and try to go further.Written 30 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jason HennigRenton, WA388 contributionsWow! As a big fan of lagers, this place had a few wonderful selection, and a LOT of good ales. The ambience was amazing, and they let you bring in food if you want to eat while you drink your selection. - Dick W1 contributionGorgeous day to take a walk in Evans Creek Preserve today, Sat., June 25th. Many prior visits, but today returning to the lower parking area with our Vizsla, just before crossing the bridge over the creek, my wife saw a black bear cub in the thick blackberry bushes (flowering, no berries yet). So we made some noise and sat down for about five minutes to allow some distance. After crossing the bridge over the creek and getting closer to the base of the hill going up to the parking, first the cub (est. 2-3 months) came out right in front of us, followed quickly by the sow. Both very relaxed and sauntering off as we backed away and waited, then went up to the opposite side to the car. No threat at all and no evidence of any taken by the sow. Just a fun, chance encounter. Have seen many in these woods over the decades, but this one of the nicest.Written 26 June 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jason HennigRenton, WA388 contributionsOver the last several months, I have really fallen in love with craft breweries. This one is definitely in my top three. The flavors of the beers were dynamic and unique, and the ambience of the beer garden was totally special. It has a great, small feel to it and is totally friendly.Written 18 October 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Amy D1 contributionFantastic small-batch brewery just off the East entrance to Marymoor park. Delicious beer selections, as well as local wine, cider, and mead available--mead!--in case you'd prefer something else. They have a rotating schedule of food trucks throughout the week, and are one of the most kid-friendly and dog-friendly breweries I've been to in the area. Spacious beer garden, big TVs to watch your local sports teams, and knowledgeable and friendly staff. A real gem!Written 8 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Kim W9 contributionsThey consistently have the best wines. Usually when I visit a winery there is at least one type that I will 'waste' since I don't like it. There is not a single type that I haven't not only liked- but brought home at one point. Very easy to enjoy, big and bold to stand up to a steak & sides .... But not so bitter you can't enjoy it with Netflix if you don't feel like cooking.Written 5 April 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Thexprt7Placentia, CA494 contributionsThis has been the best tasting room and wine in Woodinville.
We try a new tasting room every weekend and this is the best by a log shot. Peter was great at describing each wine we tasted. We walked out with a number of bottles. Be sure and stop by.Written 18 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
