Garfunkel's third album is brilliantly produced by Art himself, and contains guest appearances from the likes of Paul Desmond, James Taylor, and Paul Simon yet again. It's a great sounding record, but unfortunately a good amount of the songs lack enough substance to back up the style that backdrops them. As it is, it's a step-down from Breakaway, but one that had the potential to be a whole lot better.

Great album for Art, Wonderful World one of best remakes!
Art spent much time recording material for this great album, and thetime he invested paid off! wtg Art!
Yielding two nice hits, "Crying in My Sleep" and "Wonderful World", the
latter was a trio of voices with James Taylor and his former duo partner
Paul Simon. The song "Wonderful World" was a smash hit! I believe it is
one of the best covers I've ever heard.
Art's pure pop vocals blended with Simon's and Taylor's makes for
a hit single for sure! Very well done guys!
"Shine It On Me" was a song for Art to sing, it makes his pure voice
shine out at it's best like "Bridge Over Troubled Water".
"Marionette", "Watermark", and " Paper Chase" are some of my other
album favorites. Jimmy Webb wrote a masterpiece of songs for Art
to sing and record! A Great album for Art!

3.7 A uniformly strong album IF (and it's a big if) you dig the style and relative sameness of the material.

A few nice songs, mostly sleepy, few great Garfunkel moments.

Crying in my sleep is my favorite song on this album.
Paul Simon and James Taylor assist Garfunkel in the song What a Wonderfull World, once a big hit by Sam Cooke.
This is a very fine Garfunkel album.
