Enormous homes sit on acreage lots with still enough land left over for sprawling lawns and giant yards, making for excellent outdoor entertainment spaces for family and friends. And for the golf gods, Springdale Country Club is just a stone’s throw away from the lake, making any time tee time in Shady Grove.

Lake Fayetteville Park is a massive outdoor recreational space covering 468 acres of land — in addition to the 194-acre Lake Fayetteville — with a small section in the southeast corner of Shady Grove. Disc golf buffs can take advantage of the North Shore section of the park. The Veterans Memorial Park section offers a boating dock and marina with rentals for avid anglers, as well as playgrounds, volleyball courts and a softball complex. A 5.5-mile nature trail and a 4.3-mile concrete surface trail surround the lake, so visitors can explore the vast greenspace or take on mountain biking, as the park also offers bike rentals.
All the amenities of Northwest Arkansas
The Walmart Neighborhood Market is a great go-to for groceries and everyday essentials. At the same time, the nearby Northwest Arkansas Mall is the place to get a little retail therapy at stores like Dillard’s, Express, and Forever 21. For a quick bite to eat, head over to Wright’s Barbecue, featuring a menu of meats smoked right onsite. At Pizzeria Ruby, oversized slices are a fan favorite, along with other tasty Italian dishes.

Interstate 49 makes up the western edge of Shady Grove and intersects Don Tyson Parkway at the community’s northwest corner, providing residents with easy access to the surrounding areas. The U.S. Business Route 71 runs through the community between the country club and its golf course, which takes residents directly to the Northwest Arkansas Mall.

Springdale’s Lake Fayetteville Park is the home of The Botanical Garden of the Ozarks, complete with fun and educational programming for children. The garden celebrates Earth Day and designated Butterfly Days and Firefly Flings throughout the year while curating an understanding of horticulture and environmental conversation and awareness.
Teeing off at Springdale
The Springdale Country Club is a focal point of the Shady Grove area, featuring a private pool and fitness center, banquet halls and games rooms, member socials and events and, of course, the golf course. Going from a 9-hole course in 1927 to an 18-hole course in 1996, it features Bermuda Fairways and Bent Brass Greens and is open to members and their guests year-round.
