It burned. The blood dripping from his hand, it burned.
It maybe not deep or perticulary bad, it was a bit bigger than a papercut but it wasn’t a flesh wound either.He took a deep breath in and out, collecting the blood in his palm as he heard the others around him do the same.
The he opened his eyes, holding his hand over the pot filled with objects. Slowly it dripped onto them, creating a familiar sound for him.
The others followed his lead, putting their hands over the pot and letting their blood too drip into it.
Smoke, thicker than he had ever seen, whiter than he had ever seen, rose. It wasn’t expected. He knew, it should be terrifying and everything, but he didn’t move. And neither did his two companions. He looked up, into the eyes of the others. There was fear in them and yet a bit of determination. They have chosen this. They knew it would be strange. But it all would be worth. This all was worth it for another chance.
It was their second chance.
They just had to take it.Or Finney, Donna and Gwen travel intentionally back in time to save their friends, family and loved ones. Too bad they bring a ghost with them.

Bruce woke with a jolt, his alarm clock blaring from his nightstand. He quickly rolled over, slamming his hand down onto the alarm, effectively silencing the loud ringing. His head flopped onto his pillow dramatically, bringing an arm to his eyes in an attempt to block the sunlight streaming in from his window. The small moment of peace he acquired was very rudely interrupted as he heard a loud banging on his door.
“Bruce!” His younger sister Amy shouted from the other side of the door, the banging not stopping, “Wake up or you’re gonna be late!”
Bruce dropped his hand from his face with a groan, body still sore from yesterday’s baseball game. He remembered it being longer than it actually was. “Give me a second!” He grumbled.

From that point on, Finney makes an unlikely group of friends that teach him how to finally enjoy life and possibly find love in the unlikely of places.(this isn't fully edited yet, I probably will go back through and edit as I go)
