- Manel Sergi LasherasCentral Poland, Poland1 contributionI went with some friends on a trek with this company Terra Quechua Peru. We had the most amazing experience of our lives on the Inca Trail. Our guide was Jerson, funny, efficient, friendly, and handled our group with a lot of quality and experience. Our chef made wonderful meals and was also very helpful and friendly. The trail is challenging and a certain level of fitness will make it much more enjoyable.for me, the highlight was hiking through an incredible variety of contrasting microclimates. Walking through cloud forests, rainforests, deep arid valleys, along river rapids and steep climbs. Waking up to hummingbirds, watching condors along the trail, orchids and air plants growing wild and a llama at every photo spot. Of course, the amazing Inca archaeology, only accessible to those on the Inca Trail, was mind-blowingWritten May 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rachel E1 contributionLaguna Humantay and 7 Colors Mountain we did it with the company Terra Quechua Peru, they were always attentive to everyone and we were delighted with the places we visited and the views we had. We were delighted with the places we visited and the views we had.
Although these excursions start very early in the morning, our guide from the first moment gave us a lot of joy, good explanations and security to survive the altitude sickness.
We consider that the organization was great and that he was attentive at all times to make the experience unforgettable... Very grateful!Written April 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Alberto, the manager, provided us with good quality camping equipment with 4-season tents, inflatable mattresses and sleeping bags that kept us very warm during the cold nights. Our guide was Roberto, who was knowledgeable and friendly, sharing fascinating stories about the region while taking us through amazing landscapes. Choosing strategic campsites allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the natural beauty that this part of the Andes offers. Plus, the attention to detail. Aurelio was our muleteer, In charge of transporting all the logistics that make this trek possible, he was always in a good mood and ready to help us with everything we needed. Our Cook was Timoteo, his food was great, abundant for everyone in the group and of course very delicious, thank you very much Timoteo for feeding us very well during this challenge and for having made each day a memorable experience. That is why we would highly recommend Local Trekkers Peru to anyone looking to explore the Ausangate Park and its surrounding areas. Thank you for making this trip an unforgettable adventure. We hope to travel again with this agency in the future!"Written December 31, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - melissassmSault Ste. Marie, Canada3,184 contributionsWe were given a nice tour in English by one of their volunteers. While this is a true animal rescue and not a zoo, some of the enclosures are quite small, but I do believe they are doing the best that they can with the space and resources they have. Seeing the condors fly overhead was amazing! You don’t appreciate how large they are until you see it in person. There are a few shops and a small cafe as well for refreshments and souvenirs.Written April 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - lisajlbWesthoughton, UK1,476 contributionsI went in here without a guide as I had free time. I wish I had a guide to help explain more about it. The architecture is superb and the crypts are something else, the smell really gives an ambience.Written October 26, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Leigh H4 contributionsWhat a wonderful adventure with Alpaca Expeditions on the Inca Trail 5D/4N trek! I cannot say enough about the wonderful guides for our group - "The Sexy Alpacas"! Edward was our lead guide and we learned so much of the Quechua and Incan history along our route - he was an excellent teacher and guide. He was very organized, lots of attention to details and took great care to make this trip amazing and fun for us. Ingri was our co-guide and also cannot say enough about her skills, care and attention to details. Ingri made sure everyone was taken care of and was very knowledgeable about the trail. Both were truly the best guides we have ever experienced!
The porters and our amazing chef and his team were the backbones of the trek - such hard workers toting our gear and all supplies from camp to lunch spots to next camp. The food was amazing! Loved the Quinoa Cakes, the spicy salsa, the coca tea each morning, the attention to the vegetarians in our group, the variety of food - simply unbelievable! Our chef even made an amazing cake on the last day and it noted our wedding celebration that would be occurring after we reached Machu Pichhu - tears on that one!
The 2 of us came with open hearts and minds and joined 2 other groups of friends/family on our trek - ages from 19-75! We became an Incan Family along the journey together and I am truly grateful for these news friends! The journey was truly the destination. An epic once in a lifetime adventure. Alpaca Expeditions or "The Green Machine" are simply the best!Written May 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Dan and team remind be of my home body work in the US and after doing a bunch of research and being harassed by hundreds of places in and around the main square, I landed on this spot and booked a second massage on my way out the door. If you’re looking for an oiled up rub down, head down to the square! If your muscles need some sustaining relief, this is your place.Written May 29, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. However, it was such a lovely experience that we will never forget. We feel like we got a special taste of Cusco that we never would have gotten otherwise. The horses were so beautifully behaved, the views were unreal, and Gabriel’s knowledge of the area and of the history was priceless. Not to mention the fact that we got our own private tour just by luck because the other tourists called sick at the last minute. We are sooo grateful for Gabriel’s kindness and willingness to go above and beyond. Highly recommend!!!!Written January 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Escape222839330441 contributionAjna is a truly masterful masseuse, energy worker, kind soul and so much more. Today I had what can only be described as a truly transcendental Inca massage. I was deeply relaxed the entire way through she has such a calming nurturing presence. Already looking forward to my next opportunity to pay her a visit. - Scout R2 contributionsAmazing company! Our guide Yu Ben was great, knowledgeable about the Inca sites on the hike, and encouraging in the difficult parts of the hike! The food was incredible thanks to chef Jorge with many courses and dishes at every meal.
