Out of all the T4 ammunition, BP for the 74n, 74u, RPK, An-94 (which are top tier guns) is generally cheaper, has higher or equal penetration and ammo accuracy and lesser armor damage. To top it off, BP has wound chance, which makes enemies heal more and using up their medkits and bandages
5.45x39mm guns are also meta in mid-long range, and equal firerate that of M4s and Ar-57 which use slightly bad armor pen (off by 1). Which pose an equal playing field against other rounds. So why is it so cheap?

Guns matter too when trying to kill enemies.
Svds with t5 ammo can't one shot t3 in chest but mosin with t5 ammo WILL one shot t3 armour in chest.
So it concludes that guns matter too
As much as I don;t like to agree with my colleague here, this is indeed true. the barrel has a damage multiplier (Mosing long barrel and SNB ammo)
