West Orange High School Reviews
Rating 3.84 out of 5 897 reviews
I've attended West Orange for 3 years and now that I am finally graduating I can say that I am ready to leave and start a new chapter of my life. The best thing for me will have to be my engineering teacher, Mrs.Long, she has always been honest with her students about the school and what we need to be successful in our future careers. As one of our architectural projects, we had to create a universal building which means it has to be accessible for everyone. Doing this I learned that our school isn't one of those buildings. Though it was built a long time ago and has had many changes there are still things missing that shouldn't. For one there is only one elevator that is old and almost always has to be repaired. Another is the ramp, there is only 1 ramp that goes from the 1st floor to the 2nd and it's attached to a building that isn't even on the main campus. This becomes a problem for students in wheelchairs and crutches. These are issues I would like to see changed at my school.
Overall I have thoroughly enjoyed attending this school and am proud to be called a Warrior. I love how inclusive and accommodating West Orange has become. The clubs and organizations attached to this school a phenomenal. Footballs games were always so excited with a full student section, going to this school I guarantee there is a club for everyone. Furthermore, students are encouraged to start new clubs!
I have only been at West Orange for a short amount of time, however the time I have been there has been great. The majority of the teachers there want to see you succeed and want to help you get to where you want to be someday. Overall, West Orange High School is a great school!
