Unable to Recover Email Password - Microsoft Community

Unable to Recover Email Password

I have been working to recover a password/ create a new password. I have tried many times filling out the recovery form and each time it proves unsuccessful. Furthermore, I max out the number of entries for the day,

Is there some other process I can take to reset the password to get back into the account? If not, is the best option to abandon the email account entirely? We are running out of options. If technical support is unable to assist us beyond the recovery form, what are our other options?

Dear Cory Buckman

Thank you for sharing your concern with us here in the Microsoft Community.

We understand that you're having a hard time recovering your Microsoft account and have some challenge answering the recovery form. We understand the importance of getting this account back and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

Please know that the Microsoft account is managed by a full automated server, and no one has manual access to it. All of your security information in the account is managed, stored on the Cloud Server, and managed by the automated server. Keep in mind that the account recovery form should be the last option for you to get back into your account. The recovery form gives you the opportunity to prove that you are the owner of your account by filling in all accurate information matches that will match the data stored on the server.

We understand that you have already tried to submit the form but faced some challenge in answering those questions being asked. You can answer as many questions as possible as thoroughly as possible. When you come up with a question that allows you to "add more," fill in as much information as possible. You also have the option to submit a form at least twice daily. Perseverance and patience are key to potentially getting back into your account.

You can fill out the form: Recover your account (live.com)

If the form fails, you can definitely create a new Microsoft account today so you can continue using the services and products we offer. It's just free and be sure to log into your account regularly to avoid problems in the future.

We also encourage you to share your ideas, suggestions, and feedback with Microsoft through the Feedback Hub app. This way, we can be aware and work on the point of improving our service in the future, especially with the Microsoft account recovery process.

Thank you for your time and understanding.

Best Regards,

Peter.Y-MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
