Clark Atlanta University Reviews
Rating 3.53 out of 5 2,122 reviews
My experience a Clark Atlanta University was challenging. I was not taught ways to network or connect with people. I had a hard time finding ME, what I am capable of. I felt like I was not fitted and that is okay! I was starting to feel like my parents money and extra long shifts was because of me. I begged my parents to go to this school just for me to end up unhappy with every outcome. Freshman-Junior Year I was not satisfied but still trying to hold it together. I knew this was a challenge I had to overcome because I’m better than that to just “give up”. I decided that maybe it was me but it was also the location. An environment can change your perspective in so many ways! Now it’s time to do me, with one year left in college, I want to make memories and not be miserable. Do I feel like I wasted 3 years of my life? Yes! But this is all just a learning experience. I am blessed to be accepted into FAMU and hope for the feeling I’ve always wanted within a real college/university.
My experience at Clark Atlanta University has been nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped onto the campus, I was amazed by its inviting atmosphere and the warmth of both the staff and fellow students. The culture seamlessly fosters a sense of belonging, while the city of Atlanta has enriched my academic journey in ways I couldn't have imagined. Achieving the Dean’s list during my tenure has been a testament to the supportive learning environment and the dedication of the faculty. Reflecting on my experience, I wouldn't change a single aspect of the campus. Clark Atlanta University truly embodies excellence in education and community, and I am proud to be a part of it.
I enjoy the adversity here, a lot of people are black, but they come from all over the place with different stories. I admire the way that administrators care about their students, they make students feel safe and heard. They consider our feelings while holding us to that great standard we should've been held to our whole lives. They know we endure hardships here daily either mentally, emotionally, or physically and they make sure to reassure that struggles come but they never stay, we must keep moving forward. I enjoy the many groups and organizations for everyone to fit in as well, highlighting skills that either one or many could possess. They make sure we are taken care of because this is in fact a private institution so maintaining wellness upon everyone especially students keeps the environment safe.
