      Alec B Weirdly compelling for stretches but also, if you've seen any erotic thrillers, you'll have this all figured out five minutes into the runtime. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/21/24 Full Review Jimbo Tom Berenger stars in this thrilling mystery/drama about a man who not only loses his memory, but whose face is totally disfigured in a car accident. After plastic surgery to restore his face, he returns home from the hospital to his wife (Greta Scacci). Soon after he finds a film negative with photos of his wife having sex with another man). Since he has no memory of anything that came before, he hires a private detective to help him solve his dilemma. What unfolds next is jaw dropping-this film has a twist that is similar to the one in M. Night Shyamalan's The Sixth Sense. Do not miss it-It's THAT good! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/06/22 Full Review Audience Member Uh… yea no. Anyone who can't see the twist coming in this "thriller" from the first ten minutes needs glasses. None of the behavior of any of the main characters, including Bob Hoskins' inhaler-huffing Noo Yawk private eye (who inexplicably owns a pet shop) makes any sense at all. And since it's so predictable, it's not even ‘so bad it's good… it's just boring. As Hoskins would say, fugetaboutit. Berenger is great as always, playing a car crash victim with amnesia questioning what is truth and what is lies. The start of the film had similarities to a short film I made Who Are You?
