It was a fantastic concert. The venue was small, open seating with tables. Food and drink were available by an attentive wait staff. Jose’s rendition of Light My Fire was worth the ticket, but he did all of his favorites including California Dreaming, plus Oye como ya, several songs in his native language, and of course the finale holiday classic which became a sing a long. What fun. Mr. Feliciano was very conversational, introduced his family and his children had guitar solos, and they seem to have inherited his talent. My favorite quip was “if you drink too much, I’m your designated driver. Through a stroke Of amazing good fortune, I was able to meet and greet Jose after the concert. It was simply an unforgettable holiday for me. A visit to New York to see the holiday sites and sounds and a fantastic concert. Go and seek out his concerts—he’s 75, tours are small and infrequent and he is one of the greats.

I love the place. Good concerts and the food is great. Reasonable prices, but notice that a $25 was added as a gratuity fee automatically (might be % of what you pay otherwise). Concerts usually have a $10 dollar minimum per person. Definitely worth a visit.

All ticket sales are final. Understood. But they've rescheduled some concerts now twice and the concert is now over a year and a half past the first planned one. Their ticket agency will not refund unless Sony Hall allows it. So just be careful if you are not in New York City or able to make it there frequently.

Sony Hall features the best r&b artists of the 90's and pop rock bands. The venue is intimate and smooth relax environment. Come prepared to hear one of the most outstanding sound systems of NYC! The dj spinning tunes through the Sony speakers sent the patrons to the dance floor. The live performance easily captured the room through the sound system.

We were a group of six friends who bought advance tickets to see Jerry Harrison and Adrien Ballou's "Remain in Light" concert. The entire experience was extremely unsatisfactory, bordering on alarming. The low-ceilinged theater was packed to the rafters with WAY TOO MANY people. It was impossible to move, let alone buy a drink or go to the restroom. One of my friends, who is a lawyer, mentioned the possibility of a fire hazard. She said, "We're obviously never coming here ever again." People were snarling at each other angrily since we were all stressed out and packed in like sardines. No one could move. They clearly sold WAY TOO MANY tickets. It was one of the worst times I've ever had at a concert, and I've been to hundreds of rock shows—in little clubs and giant arenas. Never again! Save your money, there are plenty of other good joints in NYC to hear music. This place is a danger-trap and a ripoff!

Harlem Gospel Choir Brunch. Fabulous time, enjoyable. Nice family outing. Sony Hall has a wide range of acts and events through out the year. Will definitely attend more functions.

Attended the Harlem Gospel Brunch on Sunday. The food was a typical buffet- nothing special but adequate. The show, though, was worth the full cost of attendance. They had everyone on their feet enjoying every rousing moment. The server who served as MC was also so welcoming and entertaining!

Five Stars? Luis is the main reason for this high rating. Bartender- mixologist extraordinaire! Luis goes above and beyond to make sure the patrons he serves here are 100% satisfied. He knows his stuff and he is generous with imparting his wisdom to others. I enjoyed a espresso martini and my husband had a Pilsner. We split a order of truffle fries which were delicious.
The environment is clean, sleek and modern. Wonderful place to take a break and treat yourself to high-end cocktails and snacks.

The food is great as is the service from the kitchen personnel. The venue itself is not good for music, and the seating options are very bad. Even with a so-called VIP seat, all you may get is a seat in the back/on the side with a very poor view of the stage. Very poorly managed since the sad demise of BB King's.

Just bought 2 Sec VIP GA seats for Chris Botti on June 15. Where is this section? I can’t tell from seating chart.

Front half if the venue. But it’s still first come first served for seats.
We went early and had a bite to eat while we waited. Glad we did.

Hello, does anyone know if children are allowed to attend shows here? My son will be 10 at the time of show. Thank you!

Hi. I think that will depend on the show. Best check with the venue for the show you want to go to. 212-997-5123
Hope you get to enjoy the show.

Hello, is there a drink or food minimum here? If I buy tickets to a show, do you have to spend additional cash inside, or can you eat before and simply enjoy the show?

When I was there several months ago there was no food or drink minimum. My advise would be to eat before hand.
