We’re big fans of upholstered dining chairs, and this one by @baxtermadeinitaly with its buttery suede, moody blue tone and brass accents ticks all of our boxes ☑️ ☑️ ☑️ Settling down around a table for a luxuriously long meal with family or friends is one of the great pleasures in life, so why shouldn’t dining chairs be just as comfortable as armchairs?

We used various shades of smoky blue across the upholstery, artwork and walls at our Copperhouse Green project ✨ Having a single colour echo around a space is a good way of tying a room together and making it feel elegant and considered. This particular shade has a serene, timeless quality that makes one feel instantly at home.

Large pieces of furniture like sideboards and media units can be quite visually dominating, so it’s important that every inch of their surfaces is pleasing to the eye 👁 For our Kensington Row project, we chose this @westelmuk console in carbonised wood. The blackened finish brings out the beautiful grain of the wood, the geometric carvings are bold and tactile, and the slender brass legs bring a contemporary glamour. It’s the perfect combination of solidity and elegance.

This pendant by @bertfrankltd combines space age forms 🛸 with midcentury textures of reeded brass and opaline glass. The result is exquisite. This would be perfect suspended over a dining table, casting a lovely, intimate glow. Our designers are so excited to visit Decorex 2021 this week to see more creations like this one. The event is always a feast for the eyes and a source of inspiration for our creations.

Just looking at this room makes us feel completely at peace 🕊️ Minimalist design doesn’t have to be all hard edges and shiny white – everything here is soft in tone and texture, from the dove grey brickwork to the natural grain of the wood.
