Looks like season 2 is still on mirror mode lol
In Craig’s words it’s like a parallel universe to the game
Yea! Din Djarin is the goat 🧡
tbh i dont really feel pedro pascal as joel
Out of curiosity, what is it that you don't like about him as Joel?
great question actually which is hard to answer, so imma have to go with an abstract answer that i dont feel that him and game joel have the same essence if that makes sense. they look different, sound different, game joel have a rawer feeling to him and i feel like i get the sense that game joel has more emotions bottled up under the surface and that pedros potrayal is not that deeply angry or frustrated. pedro lacks that "spark" that makes the character electric like joel together with ellie was in the game
It’s different because it’s a different medium you know. I agree that game Joel has more emotions bottled up but in the show those emotions are just brought out more, they’re still there but in a different way
yeah which i feel makes them different characters
100% they made Joel much softer lol
His voice took me out of it, tbh! Pedro Pascal has a really distinct voice, like a small nasally tone I hear in all of his characters and I think "oh shit, it's Pedro!!" He's got a vulnerability that worked with this version of Joel, though. It's them puppy dog eyes 🥹
