Discovered this place walking around after the trip to Beaconscot model village. Wonderful scrumptious dishes and amazing staff. The Rancho is something you need to try! We were the last ones to leave but the staff were still super friendly and insisted there was no rush! Will definitely come back!

Went to Fego in Beaconsfield for Mother's day lunch. The food and service were great as usual. We had the Korean burger, steak ciabatta and the avocado and poached eggs with smoked salmon (my favourite there). It was a little over priced for what it is but good none the less.

We stopped by for lunch & loved the selection on the menu. The cakes were all so tempting it was hard to pick. John, our waiter was so friendly & upbeat it really made our experience very good! Would highly recommend for lunch

As you know I love a good English breakfast and at Fego they made the grade. Nice restaurant, good staff, reasonable pricing and the breakfast I had was pretty good - I'm exacting in my likes and the offering was good enough to stop me grumbling - my dining partners were pleased about that! Worth giving a try - plenty of non traditional offerings too - if that's what you are in to 🤣

Delicious food at reasonable prices. Rancher was really good. Staff work really hard and look after you, I am not surprised that people were queuing to get in (Sunday lunch is a busy time). They provide high chairs and children's colouring sheets.

Used to come here a lot a few years ago but has gone long way downhill unfortunately. The food was good, but the coffee was not; they didn't give me what I asked for and when I asked for what I'd ordered the girl whinged that it was hard to do! The replacement was no better. Service also extremely slow and the toilet was dirty and in a poor state of repair. A 'discretionary' 12.5% service charge is then added, but you can't remove it automatically - and it took 2 waitresses and 3 requests to get it removed! If you just want food and water, have plenty of time and don't need the loo you'll be fine, otherwise there are far better options close by.

The quality of the food is good, really good. It is top quality food. The challenge is in the service. The staff are great but fir aome reason it doesnt all come together a long wait when there aren't many people there, a tooo g wait to order (but wjen they turn up they are great) the quality food served is great but the food temperature is only just warm, certainly not hot enough. Amd then payment is with an app which adds a percentage in order to pay!!! ( I asked and you can pay directly witbout the payment surcharge). Overall, it is a good restaurant but the service levels need to be improved across the customer experience.

Don't live in this area, visiting from central London but the food and atmosphere are top notch which I didn't expect from a rural area like this. Had the eggs Florentine and the egg yolk was nice and runny whilst the white cooked perfectly! Smoothie was nice also.

Went in for a quick breakfast while passing by because it looked tempting, and we definitely liked it ! Great coffee. They could easily offer alternatives since I wanted a vegetarian breakfast. Lovely food n atmosphere. Prompt service.

Perfect for cake and coffee if you've been out hiking in Beaconsfield, and conveniently next to the station. Great selection of cakes and good coffee.

Dropped in for takeaway drinks. Took a few minutes before someone came to us at the door but the service was great. Coffees tasted fine. The sizes are much smaller than North American standard if that’s what you’re used. Overall a good place for coffee. Also seemed to have lots of good pastries on display and a good menu. The place was pretty busy.

Every time we visit Beaconsfield we think of The Cape. The food is excellent and the staff friendly - our favourites are Malay (prawn salad) and South Easter (chicken noodle salad). They look and taste amazing! Booking advised!

Popped in for a quick family lunch. Amazing food, lovely busy cafe but the reason I have given a negative star rating is the one particular staff member - the lady who greeted us, had a very rude attitude - not sure if it was towards us in particular or if she had a bad day. I gave her the benefit of the doubt until we had asked for the bill - and she flung the bill at our table, leaving us all very startled! So, I’m not very sure if I will be going back again as it’s left a bad taste.

Hidden gem ! Great fresh food. Had the all day breakfast scrambled eggs! Such great flavors. The service was great. And the hot sauce they gave was just superb. Got a bottle to take home as well. Had the chocolate brioche and now I’m not any other chick ate brioche other than that one. Haha

Not very friendly for children! Have been without children and liked it, however please don’t bring your children here unless they are perfectly behaved. My son is 3, and was super excited to be going for breakfast with mummy on a weekday. He was sitting down in his seat, but was talking loudly and giggling. There was only one other table occupied (2 guests) in the entire place as it was so early in the morning, but the waitress still came and asked us to keep it down. So my advice would he don’t go unless you can keep the children quiet. PS have been many times to Fego and the Beech house with my children and have never felt anything but welcome, even if they are not always super quiet.

Very good. Just popped in for coffee and cake, good choice, great quality and good value. Menu looked exciting, clearly popular as lots of tables reserved for lunch.

We have been here twice for lunch now. It is a little haven! Such a relaxed atmosphere but great service, friendly people and delicious food. Highly recommend.

I came here for lunch with my colleagues and other than the cold breeze when the door opened (we were put on the only free big table at the front), I couldn't fault it. The food was amazing, and the service was quick and friendly. It's Beaconsfield, so it's an expensive lunch out, but it's worth it due to the quality of the food

I visited at the weekend with my two young daughters and even though we hadn’t booked, they managed to find us a table despite the fact it was really busy. It was a very friendly atmosphere and the food was exemplary. My girls were very well attended to by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. At the end of the meal, our favourite part was choosing from a wide selection of home-made cakes and deserts which tasted truly delicious. I will certainly be visiting again.

The Cape is brilliant. We have breakfast there once a week with our toddler. They are always accommodating, even when it’s busy and we don’t have a booking. Our toddler, who has been going there since he was 1 week old, loves his full English breakfast! Delicious food, great atmosphere, great for families.

We only had a quick cappuccino here but it was the best we have had. The food serviced to other diners looked and smelt beautiful. The staff were very friendly.

Nice place. Service is a bit slow and breakfast portions a bit small (at least for me!) Given this was their premium breakfast. A hash brown or fried bread would have been good. But nice all the same and reasonably priced.

First impressions was very good. It was exactly 30 mins between ordering and food arriving. Food menu choice was good but can only be viewed via QR code. One meal was missing the cream cheese and the other had lukewarm beans, however all other food was delicious. Cutlery was dirty. I asked the young male for some butter and he just pointed at it next to him and walked off. Another young lady saw the look on my face and very quickly fetched the butter for us (thank you). The place has a good feel to it but is let down by very preventable things. Great Coffee

Place was welcoming and ambience was very good with a good choice and selection on the menu. However, they got order on the food wrong as we were a party of 8 who ordered a selection of cakes and coffee and 2 orders of breakfast . Both then breakfast orders were incorrect and nor quite what was anticipated The waiter was quite helpful but the meal took twice as long to finish.

Went in for lunch today, ordered sandwiches which come with fries. Waited at least 20minutes then enquired about the wait - was told it was “too busy”. Eventually after pressing we were told it was “sorted” - in the end we got a refund and left without food. Sullen service all round, tables not cleaned or with cutlery despite many staff there. Staff even scraping dirty plates at the table with customers still sat there! Very bad atmosphere all round and not even an apology.

Had a pizza 🍕 Taste average no seasoning on table for pizza. Floor was dirty and the table as well. I found fork under the table. /Carelessness Table was juggling all the time while cutting the pizza. Food particles everywhere I asked waitress for pizza she said she need to check. Kitchen is closed or open. Staff is not sure where they are working. The young boy over there was excellent and smiling all the time having positive vibes with him. That's was mistake to go there. Was first and last. Next time I'll choose to go across the street

Came in for tea and cake. Order 1 wrong, scrambled eggs instead of turkish eggs. Took a while to sort but kudos to them they did. The poached eggs were fried and so overdone. Order 2 of french toast was limp brioche dipped in egg, no honey and not sweet. Asked for some and repeatedly told 'its on there' or 'manager before getting some on side and being told "its on there but maybe not enough for you. It tasted of nothing. Roasted coconut on menu was sprinkled dessicated coconute, not roasted. Ive literally not had a worse French toast anywhere else. Overpriced lack lustre food Only saving grace was our waiter, who was very helpful and polite.

How bad can it be? Terrible! So far it's been 35 mins to wait for 2 takeaway panini's when there's hardly anyone in the place. There is a very angry man making the hot drinks who's providing us some sort of entertainment which earned the 1 star for this establishment. No comment on how the food tastes yet as we're still waiting

Nice place, staff are friendly and service is good. Good choice of lunch dishes. I had the bacon, brie and cranberry toastie this is served with chips. Delicious and very filling. Lots of tables inside and out, it was a rainy and blustery day so we were inside. A few parking spaces outside but plenty of other parking in the town not far away. Always a popular place have been many times over the years and will be back again.

Wonderful little authentic restaurant with great food and friendly helpful staff. We had a delicious pizza from next door and a delicious panini. The coffee is also very good. Love it!

I never review places but I am so disappointed and feel let down with this place. Popped in on Saturday for a lunch with my teen daughter, chose the Cacio a pepe as have just been to Rome and it's a favourite of mine . What I got was quick cook fresh tagliatelle with cheese sauce, absolutely horrid, no pepper, and inedible! When I queried the lack of pepper the guy just pointed to the pepper grinder. Oh dear. Plus they included £4 service charge for what? Bringing me my plate? The first red flag was when they brought the food out in 3 minutes! Charged me £36 and I didn't even eat it. Never asked me why!

Super little find! Initially I was looking for a local non-chain coffee shop. It has an amazing atmosphere, very cozy with very friendly staff. We only had coffee and wine, but on our way out noticed their adjoining Pizza restaurant, it looked so cozy, we will definitely go back to try out their menu

Second time we have been in three weeks. Both times we were so impressed the most amazing food and the staff are so friendly and attentive. Felt like we were on holiday tonight, we all loved our food can’t wait to return. My favourite place ❤️

Really nice Italian restaurant. Traditional Italian recipes and pizza to die for. spoke to the owner who was very chatty and nice... we sat outside table for 4 bill came to £110.

Lovely cafe/restaurant. We had a short 15 mins to eat and they made us an amazing tomato, mozzarella, olive tapenade panini with rocket salad and cherry tomatoes. It was THE MOST delicious panini I have ever ever had. And the lady serving us was very lovely. The cafe decor was beautiful, felt like we went back in time. Definitely recommend!!

Lovely Italian Place.. good selection of wine and the food has a meaning! Enjoy the story about it told by the lovely owners. Burrata with anchovies is now one of my favourite combination. Sure I will be back here when nearby.

Prelibato was the perfect Italian experience in Beaconsfield. Beautiful sunset in the background and as the evening sky changes it's colours, we decided to have some Italian aperitivo experience. We ordered some burrata with pesto, as well as the scamorza which was the melted cheese with fig jam, some bread and scoffed away. The espresso and some dessert. Which was heavenly.

Such a cute little tea shop! Stopped in for a coffee this morning on our way to see the registrar. The lattes were delicious and we literally had the best flapjack we have ever tasted in our lives. A chewy caramel base with soft buttery oats on top. I’d go back just for that. The nice lady working there was also very welcoming. Thanks for brightening up our morning.

Despite covid restrictions being lifted.....this 'tea shop' is still not letting you through it's door! Sadly choosing to offer tea,cakes etc. outside in disposal cups,bowls,wooden/plastic cutlery! No pleasure in visiting! Not to mention more 'rubbish' for 'landfill'!! Bring back china crockery & teapots! More traditional!

Stopped by this morning whilst waiting for my car service. I had a really great sausage bap. The homemade bread was absolutely delicious. Great coffee and served by a lovely lady who made me so welcome. Thank you! Highly recommended and will definitely stop by again.

This a special place. Clearly a local favourite. The homemade scones are to some of the best. The meat pie was incredible. Friendly staff.

Beautiful homemade sourdough rolls with lots of bacon. Both tea and coffee were nice and strong. Lovely friendly lady.

The food here was good but still being served as takeaway in dsposable cups etc. Two tables with chairs at edge of pavement both being showered with bits from the lime trees overhead. Real shame nit being open for dine in. Extra for cold milk for coffee and for brown sauce not even branded sachets. Will not visit again. 01/07/2022

I came in for a coffee and a sourdough toastie. Best coffee I’ve had and nowhere else compares. Found my new sandwich shop. Lovely staff too. Couldn’t fault my experience.

Stopped in for some coffee and the service was fantastic. Coffee is advertised as the best in town and it was ok. Set the bar a bit high with the best coffee in town sign.

Visited here last month for a coffee between appointments. Ordered and paid for a flat white at the counter and this was brought to me at my table. Decor is basic and simple, assorted tables and chairs which are not particularly comfortable so the place doesn’t give you the feeling of wanting to stay for long. The coffee was good but the overall service and experience was just okay.

Great coffee, interesting art, pretty good snacks, awesome jukebox if you like 80s New Romantics, post-punk and Madchester. Not many seats. No WiFi. Nice place to have a quick coffee and a snack with a friend, definitely not somewhere to go if you want to open a laptop, thanks to the passive aggressive sign.

This is a nice coffee shop. The food here was tasty and it has a nice feel. I would come back here.

Despite 3 people serving and making coffee, it took 20 minutes to get complete order. Hot chocolates arrived and I waited patiently for the Terry’s Chocolate Orange muffin. They went on to serve others. One blatantly busy counting money and did not even ask what am I waiting for. I had to jumped in before 4th person was served to ask an about the muffin. Awful and rude. Would have left it if it wasn’t bought for my child.

Rather let down for a Costa, lattes were the colour of milk. They asked us to take a seat and they would bring them when made. They didn't take long but the coffees were cold when they arrived. Plenty of good independent places in Beaconsfield.

Nice Costa coffee establishment with efficient friendly staff, my one complaint is the toilet which has been out of action for nearly two months with a sign up will be fixed soon?? Luckily they do have a disabled toilet to use but this is a big place and can get busy at weekends so they do need two working toilets

Always visit this location. I’ve seen the highs any lows and I’ve had those times when this site was shut to my frustration during the day but overall the service and atmosphere is getting better. Service is getting quicker and the guys are pleasant. My only wish would be these guys were open longer as I’m often coming past later after work and they are closed but overall it’s a busy location and the guys have weathered the storm and seem to be doing great. It’s my regular visit. Great job guys.

Unfortunately on the day I visited the coffee making machine was not working properly so there was a long queue to order then a longer wait to get your drink. Staff were very apologetic though and keeping people informed.

Went in wed to have a ☕ and I believe it could be a bit hotter but apart from that it was good 👍

Very disappointed with the 2 Tuna Panini at this place. It was just a warm-up Tuna sandwich. There were no napkins when we asked the staff, we were given blue cleaning paper. Also very expensive for what you get.Why are they not toasted paninis anymore? Warm-up sandwiches are just disgusting. Please bring back the toasties.

Some of the staff are nice and doing their best and some no one knows what they’re doing. It took 20 minutes to get 2 coffees when I was the second one in the queue. Happened more than once now so just give it a miss

Went here in August 2021 looking at the amazing rating but left quite disappointed. The coffee was okay, but the food was below average, at least vegetarian options. Not sure if there are better places in the area for breakfast but wouldn't recommend Perkys to vegetarians.

Perkys is a new coffee shop shop in the small village of Wooburn Green. As well as providing a range of premium coffees the establishment also offers teas, soft drinks, various pastries, sandwiches and other sandwiches. The inside of the shop is well decorated with comfortable seating. There is also an outdoor seating area. The staff are friendly and the service is fast. Highly recommended.

Have popped in here a few times now. It's a nicely designed coffee shop with lovely decor. Very clean and usually quite busy. Great place for a strong coffee with nice views of the Wooburn green patch.

Visited on Sunday 6 Feb. Spinach and feta roll was very tasty, however we got very poor customer service. The young lady who served us had an attitude of "take it or leave it...I'm not bothered!". The tables were dirty with used tableware and leftovers, sitting on the tables, for the entire 40 minutes we were there. Several people arrived after us and, like us, ended up clearing the tables themselves! Very expensive for such poor service! Extremely disappointed and will NOT return , nor recommend anyone to visit here.

My partner and I visited on Sunday, 3 April. I agree with previous reviewers that cinnamon buns tasted very good. However, coffee was far below average. I managed to finish my flatwhite, but my partner’s black americano was undrinkable. You could feel the (bad) taste of the water. Now, excluding the possibility that a chain like Gail’s does not use water filters for its coffee machines, one has to assume that this one was old and that possibly their espresso’s recipe may require more coffee.

Came here with my mum for morning tea and was amazed by the large selection of cakes and pastries available. There was some really interesting looking items which looked really fresh. There is also a large menu of hot and cold drinks including a dark hot chocolate containg 75%cocco. This was delicious including the cake I had. There is lot's of seating with some of it being upstairs. They could do with clearing the tables slightly quicker. Also there is also seating outside to the front of the cafe. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. My only main negative is that the toilet was quite dirty and needed a really good clean, especially considering it was in the morning when we visited.

Lovely selection of food for all tastes. Nice coffee, friendly staff. Seats both inside and out. Has become a firm favourite place! My one small gripe is not clearing outside tables quickly. Apart from that, it's great!

Been here multiple times and although it gets quite busy, I have consistently received excellent customer service. Staff is friendly & welcoming. Baristas make one of the best coffees in & around London and some of the bakery items are irresistibly delicious. On this visit I tried the ‘spinach & feta roll’ with a cappuccino and I can highly recommend both as they were utterly delicious. Overall the cafe is on the pricier side (especially if you eat in) but one that I can still highly recommend & will visit again soon.

Disgusting place. Walked in on a Sunday afternoon to find maybe 3-4 tables taken, the rest were all empty with dirty plates/cups and crumbs on them. We walked around with our cups of coffee to find at least one decent table to sit at and couldn’t. Literally had to go back to the counter to ask them to clean at least one. All the while they were standing there chit chatting.

We had a wonderful time at Gail's. When we arrived Beth, a very thoughtful staff member helped clear our table. She was on her break but still helped us out. She was so polite and pleasant. We were very grateful for her help. Thank you Beth, we loved meeting you. It's rare to find staff like this these days. So a big thank you 😊 🙏

Had a lovely and enjoyable breakfast in with my husband: croissant with almond, madeleine and coffees (just believe the prices should be much lower).

Went to gail’s last week and it was fairly expensive as i had to pay to eat in, the blueberries where expired and soft however the custard part was nice and it is a lovely shop.

Gail's had lovely bread and food, but is consistently let down by it's dine-in customer service. If a coffee shop always looks like it's just been mobbed, then the management should be adapting - better trained staff or more of them. Customers should be appreciated, not tolerated. Daniel's, Black Sheep and Ole & Steen are great local alternatives that both you and the management should consider.

Finally got the cream bun on last Saturday visit after many times turned up to the store to look for it. A very lovely staff (sorry didn’t get his name) got us the cream buns from their kitchen. Really appreciated his effort, very customer oriented 👍 Their cream bun is so tasty, the texture is nice and soft with rich flavor of cream. Please Gail’s, make your cream buns available as like other breads always on the shelf daily for customer. Thank you.

Visited 31/05/22. Went for a late afternoon coffee. Coffee machine was broken - with a contractor attempting repairs on site. Contractors also in attendance upstairs repairing a walk-in fridge. Place virtually empty. Tables dirty. Two dead potted plants on a shelf. Glaring floodlighting fixtures and blank, gray walls all conspire to present the aesthetics of a Russian gulag. However, the food & drink when it finally arrived (pot of tea and a pastrami bagel) was of a high standard - served to me by an enthusiastic but poorly trained young lad (customer interaction and food hygiene issues etc.) Very expensive pricing. Seems to be a disconnect between bakery and front-of-shop. Food still being produced when shop front counter was fully stocked - few customers to sell to and closing time fast approaching indicated to me the food would go to waste. I find this obscene. Most food establishments have a "zero waste" policy - this was not in evidence at Gail's. Management was conspicuous by its absence. Not impressed.

Had cappuccino offee and a cake. Coffee was poor (bitter, small), cake was ok. Had to go up to collect cake after coffees had been brought to table without. Cost moderate but not a lot less than much better nearby. Hopefully was off day, but they will have to up their game to attract me in again.

Blonde lady was rude directly to me and then shouts across the shop which is odd, customer service needs major improvement and coffees are not very nice. If the place is called chez pain coz her name is chez and she's a pain then I get it.

Was staying nearby and popped in for a bite to eat for breakfast. Had my dog with me and was greeted by a lovely woman with blonde hair. Was made to feel welcomed and the kids loved petting my dog. Only had bacon and egg butty and coffee but was lovely. Bread was fresh and coffee was good. Spot on place.

Great breakfast large choice of traditional breakfast (don't go there if you want avodcado on gluten free bread with miso paste). Coffee so so. A bit too weak in aroma. Great service. Will go back (will have a tea :-) with my breakfast)

Small coffee shop, a little scruffy on the edges and in need of a refurb but kept fairly clean. You're warmly welcomed by a kind and helpful staff. The coffee served is alright, I very much enjoyed my mocha.

Poor service and stale food. A lack of management - staff more interested in talking with friends and using their mobile phones. Come on Starbucks, sort this out!

The service can be notably delayed, often requiring a wait of 5-6 minutes for the coffee. While this duration might appear brief, it can feel considerably lengthy when one is by themselves in a whole coffee shop.

Pricey these days. £4.60 hot chocolate. Of course I did select it from the menu so it was my choice. But the hot chocolate wasn't overly enjoyable. I'm sure the food was fine but that wasn't what I went for. Nice enough lads working there. They were doing well.

Just go for the CAKES. They are lovely, fresh and made within fifteen meters from your table. There is a wide selection from light profiterole pastry in different combinations and shapes to strong chocolate and sumptuous cakes. The savoury dishes are tasty as well. If you like good strong coffee, opt for the tea. At the end, take the cakes home or with your picnic. The service is good..

A lovely local cafe bakery, the atmosphere is just fab, there's seating indoors, out the back in the courtyard and out the front, the staff are so lovely. I occasionally visit on a weekend morning. It's dog friendly for well mannered doggos, I personally bring my lab here and he loves it too, tries to nudge the door open even when the cafe is closed. The iced latte is lush, as are the chunky cookies. The breakfasts are very tasty. It is a little on the pricey side but that said I would still recommend coming here. If I had nothing better to do then I would be quite happy to spend a few hours here.

A lovely place to eat with plenty of seating inside. Lots of choice and the traditional breakfast was especially good. Eggs were cooked to perfection. Prices are good and if I wasn't so full up from the breakfast we would of gone home with a couple of cakes. Complimentary throws are draped over the seats in the barn, but we didn't find it cold.

Great coffee and friendly service. I don't eat the cookies but they sure look delicious! Ambience is nice and you can sit in an adapted whisky barrel in the rear garden! Good place!

It is a lovely setting with Really good food. My partner had the eggs Benedict where the sauce was just enough. ( He usually complains about how much sauce they put on at places). He said it was yummy and wished he could have got a second portion. I had the salmon bagel with cream cheese/ Avocados and vegetable crisps. The helping was just the right size for me and the bagel was packed with salmon. The only thing was cutting it was a hard task as the contents kept falling out and I possibly had a dull knife. The service was alright. The staff were polite and attentive. Clearing the tables and seeing to the customers and they did make you feel welcoming however, our server did seem a little down but it could be that she was having a bad day. The place as well is bigger than I originally thought with two sections to it and it also serves as a bakery where they make home made cakes and bread which you can buy. Its also dog friendly and it has a garden (which seemed quite large) and toilets that you have to get through via the garden area. It's a modern place ,but has an old feel to it. With beautiful fireplaces, old pictures of Wooburn Green. The tree of life. And old coat racks. I do recommend coming here.

We visited this lovely place for the first time with our hungry kids. The staff were very attentive and even though the place was full, the waiting time for our food was reasonable. The food was delicious so we will definitely come back. Thank you 😊

My girlfriend and I came here for breakfast after staying at a local Airbnb. The reviews were good so we thought we’d check it out and we were not disappointed. Food was above expectations and service was excellent. Would definitely come back here if we are ever in the local area!

Very modern, fresh & spacious venue. Lovely welcoming atmosphere with smiling relaxed staff working well together. Top quality coffee and the most delicious food. I had the Mediterranean platter but will be indulging in one of the beautiful looking cakes next time. Thank you, highly recommended.

I have been hear quite often over the past few months. It is a cafe in the back of St Thomas Church in Holtspur. It has comfy chairs, is bright and airy, with an out door seating area and a children’s play area. The staff are all volunteers and since it’s quite new, it seems they are forever training someone. The food is excellent and they offer free hot drinks on Sundays. My son does Karate at the Beacon Centre on Sundays and this is definitely more pleasant than waiting in the car.

What a wonderful cafe! Great facilities for babies and children with inside and outside play activities. Fantastic coffee and homemade cake, great toasties. I wish I'd known about this place during my Mat Leave! Will definitely be returning

This is a really great cafe situated in St Thomas church. It's the best coffee in a 2 mile radius and probably further. It's very fairly priced, service is always with a smile. It's a big space with an outdoor and indoor play area and fantastic to bring toddlers to.
