Neapolitan classical songs are a true heritage of humanity: O’ Sole mio, Torna a Surriento, Funiculì Funiculà are just some of the hundreds songs written by neapolitan poets and musicians under the shadow of vesuvius volcan. All are written in the Neapolitan languages that sometimes is very different from Italian for historical and cultural reasons which have marked the history of southern Italy.
