What happened to make you get falsely accused of assault or harassment?

Why does something need to happen? People lie for no darn reason…

Nothing happened at all. It wasn't a "gray area" or a miscommunication. Nothing even remotely similar to what she said happened occurred. She was bored with our relationship, but all her friends had become attached to me, so she found a way out of the relationship that didn't make her look like the bad guy and almost ruined my life in the process. Fortunately, it was the summer before I left town to go to college, but I still don't feel comfortable in my hometown.

I was the oddball ugly nerd guy at the office and the “mean girl” squad decided to pick on me. It snowballed into this huge thing that 100% happened because the job was mostly women and not men. Didn’t get fired right away but they did lay me off eventually.

Also saw the exact same thing happen to another guy lol. Its so screwed up that all I can do is laugh.

I said this in another post and she didn't go through with it. Back when I was in high school there was a girl who was really into my buddy. She wanted to date him but he didn't like her. She threatened to go to the police and tell them we assaulted her unless we did a double date (she had a friend who wanted to date me). Out of fear, my buddy and I went and she lost interest in him and didn't follow through on her threat.

It was duing COVID, i had an injury so i was on RTW and i was redeployed. I work at the hospital, i’m a nurse educator. I said “good morning, welcome, how can i help you today?” she stopped dead in her tracks and asked “what did you just ask me?” So i said again “how can i help you today miss?” She slowly approached me and said “don’t you mean what am i doing here?” I was like “i can ask it like that if you’d prefer…what are you doing here?” I helped her find her way and i thought, i am so good at my job. Until half an hour later my boss called me into her office because i patient had accused me of flirting with her. I was like “okay…first, that lady is like 100 years old and second, i was nor flirting with her, i was just being nice!”

Broke up with a bitch before she could break up with me. She didn't like that one bit.

Not me a buddy...He was dating a girl and she was basically live in at his place after a year. He was late 20's and went back to get engineering degree while working fulltime. Get near graduation and gets a job offer out of state. Tells girl that he is accepting and she can take over the lease, but he doesn't want to do long distance. She flips out that he is dumping her to "upgrade". Calls the police and tells them he hit her and threatened her. Buddy gets arrested, while he is jail she steals all his DJ gear and computer. He gets bail, and she is still in his townhome, says someone broke in and stole all his shit. He knew it was her and they get in a screaming match and she starts breaking shit (vases, pictures etc). Neighbor calls the cops. When they show up, she grabs a piece of glass and cuts her own forearm and slaps herself to make red marks. Tells the cops he did it and just got out of jail for assaulting her. He gets arrested again. Gets out and she got a protection order 250ft and since they put cable bill in her name, put that it is her residence on the protection order. He can't even go back to his own townhome! He moves into an extended stay, 3 weeks later he is driving home from the bar where he DJ'ed on weekends, gets bluelit by the cops, "random report from a concerned citizen". He had drinks and had weed stashed in the car, goes to jail again, car impounded.

Gets out and knows she set all of it up. Calls her and has 2 friends listen on 3 conference call as witnesses while recording it (our state law is you can record if at least 2 parties on the call know it is being recorded). Pretends to try and reconcile, and gets her to admit to making all the reports up. Cost my buddy about $20K in attorney fees and a year to get charges all dropped, never got his computer or DJ/home studio gear back ($7500).

The girl was working for me, she didn’t want to do her job, I wasn’t letting her sit around and do nothing, it was a small office, so her and her best friend made up some shit to get rid of me, now I work somewhere else. This is just part of life now 🤷🏼‍♂️.
