Went for my birthday with my daughter, I was looking forward to the culinary experience of Atul Kocher , I have previously eaten at his other restaurant Masalchi In Wembley and had a wonderful experience. Unfortunately Kanishka was very very disappointing. Yes the Tikka Pie was tasty .

The food was delicious, with good sized portions. We were stuffed 😊 You get given 8 starters to share, then choose one of four mains to share. We had chicken biryani but there was also veg options and lamb. Then three little puds 😋 The drinks were house wine (we had white Grenache which went really well with food) and cobra beer plus a welcome pina colada type cocktail. The wine kept coming for the full 2 hours even during dessert. We didn’t have to ask for top ups. Service was excellent really friendly attentive and professional. Excellent value for money with the time out offer I would love to go back again.

Brilliant evening. Celebrated my son's 18th bday and the team there was exceptional. Chef Ashok also came to wish my son. Every moment of our time there we were pampered by the Kanishka Team. oh! yes, and the Food - Excellent. :-). We loved the Tasting Menu and through that got a glimpse into the whole menu. Definitely recommend.

Very good ambience and service. Mr. Pankaj served us very well. Food was delicious. We were lucky to meet Mr. Kochhar at the restaurant for our 1st Anniversary! Thanks for an excellent service. Will visit again

An excellent dining experience combining the skills and tastes of Atul Kochhar and Lisa Goodwin-Allen. The Indian style dishes by Atul were mild (for my taste) but matched beautifully with Lisa's dishes. This combination was a one-off and part of Kanishka's 'Four Hands" experiences. all courses were introduced by the relevant chef. Possibly the only downside (for some people) would be the long evening, starting around 7pm and finishing at 10.30pm but, then again, it was an 'experience' not simply a meal.

We opted for the weekend brunch with alcohol. On arrival, we didn’t get the welcome punch drink, it came when our starters arrived The red wine wasn’t tasty, so we had the white wine The food was tasty, lacked the wow factor When booking, I said we were celebrating our anniversary but unfortunately it wasn’t aknowledged sadly Staff were keen for us to leave at 4:30 even though we received our first drinks at 2:30 Very rushed service.

Slow service , food quality poor . Broccoli was underdone to a point it was raw. They brought out all the mains and didn’t bring dall for another 10 mins which meant all other food went cold. No apology or offer to keep other food warm whilst dall came. We ended up not having any time for dessert. This was a special occasion as it was our 20 th wedding anniversary, all w r got was the host after 15 mins of being seated come and say oh yes happy anniversary! Resturant doesn’t care . Wouldn’t return any time soon.

A nice restaurant with an interesting tasting menu. Food was nice and the accompanying wines were well selected. Service was prompt, if in my view a little uninvolving. It was a nice experience but not sure I would consider it returning as there are probably more appealing and atmospheric dining options at this price point.

The evening I visited Kanishka was a Charity Dinner and the restaurant was fully booked with 5 different chefs cooking diverse courses. Superb food especially from Atul's team and Cyrus Todiwala. Different style from Benares and Indian Essence in including more "westernised" dishes. The matched wines were generally well-matched. Atul's Blanc de Blanc Champagne made an excellent aperitif with two lovely canapés. Service was cheerful and efficient. I will definitely return and recommend others to go to Kanishka.

We had the Lunch Tasting Menu with Wine Pairing, not cheap obviously, but worth every penny for that special treat. The food was absolutely delicious and we tried some wines that we wouldn’t necessarily have chosen, all great. We also had the pleasure of meeting Atul Kochhar who was there at the time. We will definitely be back again 😃

Service was excellent. Food didn’t live up to the previous tasting menu I had here pre-pandemic. Flavours weren’t unique and some of the items too sweet and not balanced as good be.

Our first time at Kanishka - we had the taster menu and experienced Indian Cuisine of a kind we had not experienced before. The food was fantastic - excellent tastes and flavours all beautifully presented. Staff were welcoming and friendly and went into great detail about each dish and were happy to answer questions from us. Overall, a great experience that I hope we can repeat again soon.

When we arrived we were being attended to a lovely gentlemen and then the manger came over and literally pushed him out the way. What a disgraceful way to treat your staff. We were seated on a table set for 2 people (there were 3 of us) and no one came to set another plate or glass. We ordered drinks and 15/20 mins later nothing had arrived and so had to remind them to bring the drinks. They also forgot the chutney I had specially ordered before the popadoms arrived. They didn’t provide us with enough menus so had to ask for another one. Generally slow and not very attentive staff. The food is tasty and they provide good portions but not worth the amount they charge. Coupled with the managers behaviour, slow service we wouldn’t go back.

Great start with wine, poppadums and starter excellent. Asked for a 10 minute break after starter which was agreed to by the excellent waitress. After 2 or 3 minutes cold plates were brought to our table followed by warm rather than hot food. All the food tasted great but when the head waiter enquired if everything was ok and we gave feedback he offered a free dish of hot rice! The young waitress apologised on the way out. We will go back but do we have to go earlier to avoid being hustled.( we booked for 8.00pm)

We went for Supper Club with Crystelle Pereira. The culinary experience was like none other. The menu the flavours the variety...all outstanding. But the ticket price was a bit too high. Without alcohol we paid 85pp + tax.

Good was mediocre for the price bland and the sauce was tasteless and sweet for mater paneer The staff were not very attentive, we had to pour own water Waiter kept dropping the cutlery and kept asking if we had finished our meal There was no one to open door when we were leaving This place need a head waiter The staff need training for a Michelin Star restaurant
