How to Farm Uniques

Unlock World Tier 3 and Play on Nightmare Difficulty

As of the Season 2 update, Uniques and Uber Uniques will all have a chance of dropping at World Tier 3. Players will need to complete the Cathedral of Light Capstone Dungeon. Once you've completed the dungeon and begin playing on the Nightmare difficulty setting, you will be able to start farming Uber unique items.

Run Nightmare Dungeons That are Tier 31 or Higher

Since only level 85+ enemies will drop these very rare Unique items, players looking to run Nightmare Dungeons in order to get them will need to use Tier 31+ (Ancestral) Nightmare Sigils. These can be obtained via crafting at an Occultist using Sigil Powder.

Note: In order to use Ancestral Nightmare Sigils, players will first need to reach World Tier 4 - Torment Difficulty. Once at this difficulty level, simply consume the Nightmare Sigil from your Consumables tab to open a Nightmare Dungeon on the map.

Reach Level 85 to Make Open World Enemies Level 85

In order to get enemies in the open world to spawn as level 85, you will first need to reach level 85 on your character. Once done, enemies will also start spawning as level 85, opening up more avenues for you to farm these hard-to-get Unique items outside of Nightmare Dungeon runs.

At level 85+, players can kill normal and elite enemies in the open world for Unique drops, or complete World Events, participate in Helltides, or tackle Gathering Legions to increase their chances of getting a very rare Unique.
