Vince Neil Falls On Stage (Again) During Live Mötley Crüe Show

Vince Neil lost his balance and fell on stage during Mötley Crüe’s Atlantic City show.

During the band’s concert on May 3 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, the incident happened while Crüe was playing the third song of their setlist. As the band started performing ‘Wild Side,’ Neil moved to the right side of the stage but then slipped and fell.

This Is Not The First Time He Fell On Stage

The singer has fallen on stage before. In October 2021, he broke his ribs while performing with his solo band at a festival in Tennessee. He was playing ‘Don’t Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)’ when he slipped and fell off camera.

TMZ later said there was a small gap on the stage he didn’t see. His roadie and a security person helped him up, and he walked away with a limp. The accident ended the show. After the rocker was taken backstage, his band played one more song. Neil’s bassist, Dana Strum, said he broke his ribs and couldn’t breathe, so they took him to the hospital.

At the time, Eddie Trunk gave an update about his health status, writing on X:

“Get well, Vince Neil! Vince slipped and fell off the stage tonight at Monsters on the Mountain here in Pigeon Forge. Vince had been moving & singing great before the accident. He’s at a hospital now getting care & X Rays. More when I hear. Get well VN!”

Neil Recovered Quickly After The Accident

Mötley Crüe later announced with a tweet that Vince was back at his home to rest after the accident:

“Vince is back home and resting after breaking a few ribs on Friday night. Our love and best wishes for a speedy recovery and ready to rock in ’22!”

When Neil broke his ribs, Crüe had scheduled shows with Def Leppard in 2022 for their Stadium Tour. The vocalist’s bandmate, Nikki Sixx addressed how his injury might affect their tour in a chat with Billboard:

“However he was really lucky; He said if it wasn’t a song that he was playing rhythm guitar on it could’ve been his head, which would’ve been a worse injury. The guitar broke his fall but he’ll heal up and we’ll be ready to go on tour in June. This tour’s been postponed twice; We just didn’t have enough information at the time, with protocols and all, to go and do a stadium tour. We’re all feeling good about it now, and we can’t wait, man.”

Vince performed his first live show after that 2021 incident about a month later. He sang at a private event on a yacht in Miami.
