This church is stunning, the amount of detail work that’s gone into the statues which holds the record for the most figures in a church in the world is just magnificent. The glass work is eclectic and like non I’ve ever seen before, I can only imagine how it glimmers when the sun it’s the glass just right. This location is definitely the main attraction in the city and it’s definitely worth the visit.

Incredibly beautiful architecture...didn't know every French king had been crowned here. Younger yet bigger than Notre Dame in Paris. Definitely a must see.

Fantastic historical site. I am notbsure how it compares to the one in Paris since no one can get in there now, but there is a lot less people and the building is very well kept. All the details in the construction are simply amazing. No ticket needed.

This cathedral is absolutely beautiful, the staff were all very kind. I would definetly recommend visiting the cathedral if you are in Reims or surrounding areas. The cathedral is in stunning condition for being over 400 years old. Overall an amazing experience.

In love with our history, one day I had to visit the city of coronations and of course the cathedral. What a beautiful building filled with so much history, events. A magnificent construction. Huge and whose maintenance and restoration make it a beautiful monument dedicated to the Catholic religion and the coronations of our kings. A statue dedicated to Saint Joan of Arc is necessarily visible there. It's crowded but it's reasonable and then unlike some buildings of the same type, I found a great calm and a beautiful serenity all the same. To see without hesitation. For the duration of the visit everything depends on you, are you ready to read all the informative brochures? Are you a strong believer? So if you belong to one of two categories you will be the sole judge of your time. Otherwise in one hour you will have been able to observe the building.

A nice church to visit while on the way to champagne country. Our tour from Paris made a brief stop here, and it made for a bit of awe and introspection. The building itself is adorned with hundreds of statues and statues holding statues. Inside, stained glass windows give everything an intentional tinge of pink and purple hues. Near the back, there are relics of saints and several extravagant chapels.

Amazing, if you are anywhere near Reims this is a site you shouldn't miss. It's easy to access, in a wonderfully peaceful area, and is as or more stunning than many cathedrals in the country. I could have spent days hearing about the historical coronations and critical events in the history of France that occurred at this site.

A true work of art, its size and architectural details simply take your breath away. One of the most beautiful and well-maintained cathedrals in France. Both the interior with the glass painting and the exterior with the architectural details are worth it, you will give them a good part of the time to be admired. Of course I've not seen every cathedral in the world but for me one of the most beautiful churches I've ever seen. Very impressive! No fee to enter, but you can think about giving what it's worth for you or pay for a candle in memory of a loved one.

Amazing cathedral built in the Gothic style. Great history behind this cathedral. When visiting this Cathedral take a few minutes to sit on the benches across from the Cathedral to take in the magnificent architecture and the majestic views. Entrance is free. I spent around 45 minutes inside - walking around admiring the architecture and also taking time to sit quietly and pray. This is a must visit if you are in Paris. There are frequent trains.

Cathedral is a an absolute jewel of gothic architecture! If in Reims it’s definitely a must visit. Great for architectural enthusiasts as well as religious pilgrims. Mass services are frequent and easy to find out. It breathes history from medieval times, through coronations to modern post war truce meeting with German chancellor Adenauer. My personal favorite is the smiling Angel on the outer facade. As with every monument, expect renovations and parts of the interior/ exterior to be covered due to works. A highlight compared to Paris is that it’s not too busy and you marvel at peace with no too many people pushing you.

This Cathedral has so much character and detail even from the outside, very impressive. The scale of it is quite large for a Cathedral in a smaller town. Definitely worth the stop if you are driving by the area.

Decided to head away from Paris for a day and drive out to REIMS. So glad we did as this place is an absolute gem. The cathedral from the outside is beyond words, absolutely stunning. We were lucky enough to visit when there was a service taking place and the sound of the choir within the high roof of the cathedral was joyous. Out of all the buildings we visited whilst in France this is the one.

Extremely nice building especially when you see its illuminated exterior in the evening, full of statues, big arches, colored windows, the French king was crowned here during the tumultuous years of Joan of Orleans, I think it is always good to go there, sit for a while and think... do not forget to see the Statue de Jeanne d'Arc in front door...

This is a place where Kings have been crowned. It is stunning and mystical at the same time. Situated next to the Cathédrale Notre Dame de Reims, it is a place to see if you are fan of history and royalty. The display is amazing and takes you on a journey across the lives of Kings. We were alone in the museum early morning so that could be the best part of the day for a visit. Zero queueing and the whole place just for us, the stroll became almost a VIP one. It will not take more than 1 hour unless you really want to spend 5mins contemplating every display, carpet or statues. Equipped with the Education pass and a kid of 11, the entry was free on top of that. Plan your visit and buy your tickets in advance to go quicker otherwise wake up early and enjoy the museum at your own pace freely.

Walking through the palace was quite emotional. Having the privilege to see the actual garments and personal belongings of the French Nobility was one of king of experience. I highly recommend this palace located next to the Cathedral which is full of history it self.

Great artifact collection. Worth getting the audio guide because all the exhibit descriptions are in French. I would recommend getting a combined ticket because entry price is 8 Euros.

I'd say it's a must for anyone in Reims or stopping by in the city. The coolest part for me was to see some of the old statues that fell off the cathedral which are now on display inside the palais. Really makes you appreciate the craftsmanship and the detail that went into buildings back then.

I have been trying to experience the museum of my adopted country while covid has kept most tourists away. I have seen a lot of museums that have done a good job balancing the safety of visitors with the ability to still see and understand the exhibit. This was not one of them. The gestures taken for covid seem haphazard at best and nonsensical at worst. Also, as a warning, all explanation plaques are in French which is fine. More worryingly, signs indicating directions and important information are inconsistently translated into English and German (sometimes one, sometimes both, sometimes neither) and the translations (in English anyway) are mostly terrible.

Beautiful museum, although none of the explanations were in English it was still worth a visit.

Although we didn’t go on the tour, the ability to have a glass (or two) on the terrace and take in Ruinart was welcomed, unlike other competitors in the area. Enjoyed every drop and tasting the France-only blend. Would highly recommend.

My favourite cellar tour and tasting! Our guide was so knowledgeable and I really enjoyed hearing the history and seeing how the house incorporated art into its current activities. The champagnes were of course excellent too!

Unique and very calm and peaceful place. You can get a tour with a tasting experience, but I would recommend to book a chefs’ brunch with champagne pairing. Food is so delicious and elegant and the service is on the ”Michelin star” level! Trust me - that would be unforgettable two hours in your life!

We won't begin to address the superlatives and adjectives used in prior reviews to describe this producer suffice to say they're in a rare class and we'd be redundant. Even if you're a casual lover of Champagne, you should experience this Domaine. Their history is unrivaled. The cave inventory of 5 billion (not a typo) is insane. And the caves, oh my goodness the caves. Journey well below the Earth's surface into history, chalk walls, art and inventory of bottles beyond comprehension. Love the bubbles, personally could do without the LVMH perfumed gift shop to acquire bottles. Definitely need to see this place at least once.

Hands down one of the best experience as we’ve ever had. We arrived unfortunately to a French speaking tour, but our wonderful host Leo took care of everything and did our tour specifically in English. We were genuinely blown away by his passion and enthusiasm and knowledge for the champagne Maison. We were already massive Ruinart fans but after touring the crayees and understanding the true history and legacy, and heritage of this incredible champagne, we are lifelong devotees now. What an amazing experience! We did the 2 hours tour which included cellar tour and a tasting of vintage and “regular” champagnes. Our tour guide was amazing, the champagne was delicious and the estate is just beautiful. If you’re in Reims, don’t miss out on the oldest champagne house in the world!

The highlight of my trim to Reims is definitely the visit to Maison Ruinart. It costs €70 for a private tour of not more than 10 people, so you are guaranteed an intimate tour. If you purchase the Reims tourism pass, you can get a 10% discount on the price. Our guide was on such a engaging storyteller that left me with a renewed appreciation of the brand and the craft of champagne making. The 2 hours tour ended with 2 glasses of champagne, one of them a vintage so you can draw your own comparison. I won’t recommend to purchase their classic champagne at the store as you can get it cheaper in retails shops outside. Also, be sure to wear comfortable shoes as there will be lots of walking and the fact that you descend 30m below means you’ll have to walk back up.

Good tour through the crayères, with lots of information about the house and the champagne making process. The tasting was amazing. Set in a lovely room, led by a very insightful and kind guide. We had some of the best cuvées of the house, which were some of the best champagnes I have ever tasted.

Beautiful. Last time I was in Reims couldn't visit this exemplary Romanesque basilica. Today I enjoyed it! It is not exactly downy, but it is definitely worth a visit. Dalle du choeur de l'abbey Saint-Nicase exposed here is an extraordinary masterpiece.

Smaller than Reims Cathedral, but very nice too, it is much quieter and less crowded here, calm atmosphere, silence, peace, beautiful statues, interesting altar, high arches, definitely a must see...

The basilica has a particular design which I loved. And it reminds me of a tortoise. The museum of the same name is just behind. And to be in communion with God, one could stay in the beautiful gardens and parcs surround the basilica. Those spots were my favorite. In addition, there was a parc of bikes to rent not far. However for a foreigner it was a bit hard to get those e-renting bikes as the process of rental logged out when we needed to register our credit card. There was not another way to rent a bike in the city. We then just enjoyed walking around.

One of the most impressive cathedrals in Europe. It is free and definitely worth a visit. If you scan the qr codes you will get detailed info about the history of the place. Spare some time to visit the cathedral.

I love WWII history and it was awesome to be in the same place (and see the original room) where the Germans surrendered at the end of the war. The museum is well-maintained and clean, the staff are friendly and bilingual, and the opening 20 minute video was very informative and provided a great introduction before walking through the rest of the museum. Also, admission is very reasonable at just 5€ per person. Thanks for a great visit!

Small museum, an intro movie and 4 rooms. Doesn't take long to read everything and to visit. The intro movie is well done. The displays are very good as well. One room is all uniforms and well displayed. The key room is the one where the surrender was signed and just being in that room was great. Seeing the maps on the wall and knowing that is where the war ended was very cool. There is no dedicated parking, just street parking or the train station parking is very close. If you take the train from Paris, the Museum is just a couple minute walk. We visited on the anniversary of D-Day which did add to the experience.

Great if you love history and care about remembering where the WW2 madness ended.

€10 to get in for a family of 4. Nice friendly multi lingual staff. I suggest you watch the film in the small cinema before you go upstairs to see the exhibits and the War Room. Interesting to see what happened and why this place has been forgotten in recent memory. Good for about 3/4 hour as it's only small. There is a gift section as well.

We liked this museum. Small but with loads of historical significance. The film put everything into context before looking around. Remarkable that the room and the actual table still exists. Very quiet when we went in late March and we were the only visitors. Also it was a "free to get in day" - never found out why, but it isn't expensive to get in when you have to pay. Not too far to walk from the centre of Reims although the area isn't what you might call picturesque.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had briefly stepped away from my group to visit this museum and had very little time. They even arranged for a Uber taxi back. Museum is superb, clean, and well maintained.

It wasn't really a museum but anyway it was nice to know the story of May 7th, 1945. The tour starts with a short movie about how Reims was liberated and become the central commandant's point in the last year of the wwii. Then comes the room where the agreement between the allies force, ussr and Nazis is signed. Worth a visit if you are in the area and are into the history of wwii.

Self guided tour hence could be boring. Not a lavish tasting like the other champagne house but maybe I chose the wrong ticket. Travelling with a stroller is possible as there are elevators.

Unlike the Pommery exposition, this is not a must-see. The story behind it is nice, but you already hear a lot about that during a visit at the Domaine. Also, it gets crowded quite quick.

For 20-30 euros a ticket and one glass of champagne I personally didn’t think it was worth it. The villa is beautiful and old. If you are into that you will probably love it. I personally just wanted to try some different champagnes. There is also a bunch of weird and creepy looking donkeys all over the place which made my wife and I a little uncomfortable. It was very underwhelming for us and we were very upset to spend 50+ euros on this for some honestly just ok champagne. Especially considering the day prior we bought a local champagne from a store 2 minutes from where we were staying that was about 20 euro. And we loved that champagne that we bought and wish we had just bought 2 more bottles of that instead of the self guided tour with only one glass of champagne. Also just to note. A lot of the reviews here are very misleading if you aren’t paying close attention. A lot of them are speaking on the pommery domaine which is across the street and supposedly has caves and a more vast wine cellar. This location in particular (villa Demoiselle) was nothing of the sort and had a small cellar room.

Visiting the caves was very interesting, i loved that they are also used as an exhibition hall. The guide spoke 4 languages, very helpful if you don't speak french, and was eager to answer our questions. The second part, with the villa and the champagne tasting was exquisite.

We visited the beautiful Villa Demoiselle. It was a self-guided visit with a paper / audio guide but we didn't feel like we got a lot of information out of it and felt a bit 'lost' during the visit. The guide is mainly focused on the history of the building, rather than on the champagne itself. We recommend to get a guided visit.

The visit is pleasant (much more than Vranken's visit), the house is beautiful, the gardens too. The staff are friendly.

Lost at a top Reims, the Vranken Pommery domaine is just surprising. The Main place is colorful and the experience to visit the cellars is wonderful (take a sweater with you, it's cold anytime during the year). But if you walk across the street, you'll discover the Villa Demoiselle! One of the treasure of Reims! This Mansion (more than just a Villa) is full of surprises and you learn more about the family who founded and developed the Brand and you also have a different experience ! The garden is so great, so at the end you can just sit and order a glass champagne (Vranken Pommery of course) and discover all the tastes of the bubbles of this amazing beverage !

We went here in combination with the tour through the Vranken pommery basement. I love the way this building looks and it's very inspirational to walk inside. After, as part of the tour, we tasted some champagne which was ofcourse amazing.

A very cool stop in Reims for those who want to see a unique blend of art nouveau and Art Deco. The hostess/tour guide/champagne connoisseur (she wore a lot of hats!) is was welcoming and quite funny. I’d never tried this brand of champagne prior to visiting this villa, but I’m sure I’ll keep one on the shelf for guests from now on.

The Domaine Vranken Pommery champagne cellar’s tour finished by visiting the Villa Demoiselle. It is such a very interesting tour. The villa is nice, with beautiful architecture and decor. You might be surprised by all of the rooms in this villa. They are colorful, with a lot of nice furniture from around the world collected by the family who founded and developed this villa. It is a must see place in Reims.

It's a huge and lovely park. The entrance is free and you can lay on the grass, play or if you're lucky, even watch some show jumping for free! It is a little bit far from the city, but it isn't far from Saint-Rémi or some famous vineyards that look amazing from the outside.

Accessible place, we walked from the Reims train station. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and led an interesting and engaging tour. She answered all the questions we threw at her. The champagne tasting at the end was very good, I would highly recommend.

Didn’t seem to be as popular as some of the other houses but it’s just as interesting. We took an English tour which turned out to be private because nobody else signed up. Very fun to see the industrial production followed by a walk through the caves. There’s natural mould on the walls! We enjoyed a tasting after the tour. You can choose to taste 1-3 champagnes. Nice experience.

Excellent tour with Celine, who was very knowledgeable and a great guide. We were amazed by the size of the cellars and their capacity. I only regret not being in Reims in summer to be able to see the grapes on the vines - everything else was perfect. We had the "creation emblématique" tasting experience and loved both champagnes (Black Creation and Rosé). I would highly recommend this tour and tasting to anyone visiting this lovely city.

Booked the 1 hour tour. Guide was super friendly. Enjoyed the experience and the champagne. Not as impressive as some of the large champagne houses but still excellent! 7km of cellar. Also, it's the only place with a vineyard in the city.

Tour packages: With each tour (which is exactly the same regardless of the tasting package selected), three different tasting packages are offered: Discovery (26€), Reserve (49€) or prestige (70€). Each starts with a glass of their classic Black Label brut, and the three then diverge from there. A second glass is provided in the Discovery tasting (Rose), while three total glasses are provided in the Reserve (Black Label Reserve & Blanc de Blanc) and Prestige (Green Label Bio & Le Clos) tastings. After our tasting, our guide offered an additional glass of any of their champagnes for an extra 10€ (max of 4 glasses per person…so if you bought the Discovery, you could buy 2 more glasses, or 1 more glass with the Reserve/Prestige). Had I known this in advance, I would have better customized my tasting by purchasing the Discovery (26€) and adding on 2 other glasses (20€) after I learned more about each one. Tour: The tour was informative, but started slow with a history lesson about their famous and royal customers. The tour picked up though once in their cellars when we began learning about the champagne making process. Our guide was average…informative but she could have used some humor and enthusiasm. Tasting: The champagne was delicious. They also have a nice tasting room where guests can sit and relax while enjoying their glass. Conclusion: Recommend.

Champagne Lanson is situated about 15 minutes away from Reims city centre. Reachable through the tram with 5 minutes walk. We’ve had one of the best wine tour and tasting. The guide first took us through the history of the house then the on site vineyard, production area where the fermentation took place and finally the tasting of the black label and rosé. A highly recommended experience if one is in Reims.

Great visit at Lanson . I had the opportunity to taste the 2007 Clos Lanson and its delicious. Out of 1 hectare of Chardonnay comes the delicious Clos Lanson Blanc de Blanc. I would like to say that the excursion was boring. The champagne is very good however! And the cellar space is not very entertaining after I visited other cellars in Reims. That’s why if you have choice I suggest to discover the offers of the market before deciding to which cellar to go . Nice terrace and nice champagne 🍾

This is one of the places I've enjoyed the most while visiting Champagne. The display in the main corridor outlines the history of the fort and the progress of World War I in general. The smaller rooms along it are filled with either collections of weapons, uniforms and other objects or dioramas, all of this well made. The outside portion of the fort has plaques describing what-is-what as well. There are a few interactive bits and some footage from the time period, and a lot of objects such as postcards, novelty items, posters, everyday items etc. So it gives you a lot of perspective both on WWI as a whole and in a more "close" or "human" sense. My one complaint is something that I've noticed in some other museums in France. The displays in the main corridor are in French, English, German and even Braille (French, I assume). Alas, everything else is in French only. This isn't much of a problem if a plaque just says "French cavalry helmet", but there were some items that had additional explanations given and I feel like I could have learned a lot more. Google won't let me take half a star away, though, and other than this I think this is a great place to visit, so I'm giving it a five. Some two-three hours seems like a good estimate for how long a visit takes. Well, maybe four if you are very thorough.

Good museum. The exhibits have good signage and the English translations are good. The layout is well thought out.

Museum about the fort during the World War 1. 5,50 € per head normal price. About 1h30 minutes to visit. Plenty of items, short movies, interesting!

We only visited outside exposition and not the museum itself because we came outside of museum opening hours. Very interesting for the kids because they see what the fort is, see the large cannons, see flags of the war participants. The part of the exhibition is the monument devoted to the Russian expedition corps sent to French allies to support the defence.

Outstanding great collection of pickelhaubes. Interesting WW1 history place. It's definitely worth a visit.

Good museum, doable in about 2 to 3 hours time depending on whether you read all exhibits, which are, by the way, available in 3 languages, french, English and German. They also have audio guides in Spanish and Italian. What you'll learn by visiting this place is the daily life and routine of a soldier of WW1. Lots of equipment on display, some weapons, and the biggest collection of German WW1 helmets in the world. Definitely worth a visit.

Friendly and clean. We did the gourmet tour for 7 euro. Is was fun to do but very confusing too :p they say it takes 1h30 we did it in 2h-2h30... And it is only in french. Could be a little more simple.

Staff at tourist office very helpful, and they were very positive about the champagne tour. However the tour was hopeless, the audio guides didn't work, the driver was friendly but didn't speak any English, so we drove around region within getting any information. The winery tour was informative but the wine maker's English was limited. Fortunately the tastings were very nice. The tour didn't meet our expectations.

Some guy named Sebastien helped us out in English. Wasn't really in a good mood, by the sound of him. Sounded like he wanted to get rid of us asap. If you're not keen on giving the default tourist explanation on where to go and what to do, don't work in a tourist office, then...

This tourist office is great! The lady who assisted us was very knowledgeable and gave us some insider tips and recommendations that turned out to be spot on. A champagne tasting right there set the right tone for our visit to this region.

Probably the worst tourist information office in the north of France. Absolutely not interested in their job by pointing you to a guidebook, a leaflet, or offering any information which could be of interest. However, it all becomes very clear when you leave the office only to find yourself in a gift shop! BTW - I'm the only English speaker in a large French family. We asked all the info (naturally) in French. Maybe I should have asked in English, we might have had a better reception?

Unless you reserve a guided tour in advance, you probably will be stuck doing the self-guided tour with the downloaded application. Once downloaded it’s fairly easy to use. Unlike others here, I found the art exhibit and lights distracting. I was more interested in the technical and historical details which I found out later were provided in the available literature. In the end, the Champagne was excellent and really what I came here for. Likely others won’t mind the art or lights.

This was a really great experience. We did the self guided tour and walked through the drives (cellar) and followed along with the hard copy guide provided. The cellars are so impressive and there is some incredible modern art juxtaposed with the long history of the cellars themselves. Highly recommend.

Vranken Pommery domain in Reims, France, offers an impressive self-guided tour of their vast wine cellar. The 18 km long cellar is a fascinating experience, topped off with a delightful glass of vintage grand cru Pommery champagne. A must-visit winery for champagne enthusiasts!

Visiting this cave every year on my birthday 😎 As in the other caves, you’ll learn about champagne making, with the added delight of savoring an excellent champagne. But that's not all; there is a modern art exhibition that evolves annually, adding a contemporary twist to the experience. And make sure not to overlook the annex building, where an additional exhibition awaits!! This cave is truly a gem. I usually swing by before lunch because, let's face it, champagne tastes better before noon – it's like breakfast but with bubbles! 😁

Well worth a visit! First tome visiting a Champagne maison. A bit commercialized and pricey but if you have not visited before I recommend. Tour of house and cave with two glass of champagne cost 42 eur

We came to Pommery because I had seen many videos about their beautiful caves, but to be honest I was a bit disappointed in the overall experience. We chose the self-guided tour, but there is not much explanation on the house, champagne process or anything. You just get to see a lot of the art pieces, but nothing related to the champagne itself. You get two glasses with your ticket, but barely no explanation on the champagnes you are tasting.

An experience of a lifetime. Even as you enter the domain you see how the people here have incorporated art along with their work and culture. A true blend of modern and contemporary way of making the champagne. A shout out to Nais, for her guidance around the area. The champagne as well is true to its taste and do not disappoint. Must visit if going to the Reims region.

The caves are made from chalk which makes it beautifully cold down there and the prefect temperature for champagne making. Madame Pommery took spaces made by the government collection of chalk to build to create the perfect space for Champagne storage. I learnt an important fact for all of the champagne lovers… the quality of champagne snd wine is better in a magnum… I have just given you a valid reason to purchase Magnums when drinking champagne! I Will be reminding Jordan of this regularly🥰 Pommery sort their bottles in individual cellars for different countries and people. The artwork throughout the cave is incredible and always changing of you need an excuse to go again. You really get an understanding of why champagne is special when you learn the process and time involved for each bottle. After the climb back to the top we were greeted with the tasting of a Brut and a Vintage. This was incredible and I highly suggest putting it on your list of you visit.

Truly incredible experience! We booked the Gastronomic Visit and loved it. The caves are spectacular, the tour was very informative and the 3 course lunch with matched champagnes was divine.

A wine that expresses its terroir is one that is as close to the grape itself as possible. Vranken Pommery passes this respect for tradition on to future generations of winemakers, committed to producing fine, authentic wines. The visit to the Vranken Pommery costed 24 euros without the guide and included a glass of champagne in the end. Vranken Pommery has a philosophy of winemaking that respects tradition and the same is displayed in their champagne house tour. It is a must thing to do when you visit Reims.

Visiting this wine cellar is one of the best experiences in my life. It’s a wonderful idea to let the customers not only see the cellars but also entertain themselves by placing a contemporary art exhibition inside. Champagne itself is fantastic! Very impressive. Book online in advance .

A fabulous tour of the caves and the artwork was breathtaking. Our guide was awesome, the entire space is a must-see and the tasting was great at the end.

Fantastic journey through the cellars. The art installations are a huge plus. The tastings were generous pours and delicious. I’d also recommend having lunch at the restaurant. A perfect way to end a morning tour.

Honestly, this was a tough spot to enjoy as a tourist. The price to experience to crowd to service ratio wasn’t hitting at all. The app for the self guided tour wasn’t working. There were no signs in English. No arrows indicating direction. I honestly still couldn’t tell how champagne is made after this experience - I had to google it 😂

A bit more theme park than winery; it's worth the stop if you want a bit of wine and to tour an old home and very decorated caves. If you want to avoid crowds or want a more intimate experience, would skip this location.

Interesting experience for people who are not into alcohol in general, as there are many art pieces and it's more of an art gallery. Very reasonable price for the entry ticket. Suitable for children as well.

Nice visit at Vranken Pommery. You will see the caveau, which is not so worderful as you may expect. Then you will visit ville Demoiselle, that is a fantastic example of art nuveau and art deco. The visit ends with a glass of very good champagne. It is mainly a visit at the the house rather that to a cave.

The self-guided tour of the cellar was ideal to visit with our kids. We could go at our own pace and focus on the things that were engaging to them while still learning the interesting history. When buying the ticket choose which champagne you'd like to sample at the end. Kids get a fizzy grape juice. Lovely reception space to relax and enjoy your tasting after exploring. Good shop.

The Pommery cellars in Reims are an outstanding experience! Many kilometers (sic!) of tunnels, ca. 30 meter down, always ca. 11 Celsius cold, full of impressive modern art installations and partly very old bottles. You can visit them also without appointment and without guided tour. Highly recommended!

Didn’t love the champagne. But the cellars are a reason to visit. We did a self guided tour, over the course of an hour, and it was wonderful. This is a great place to see the cellars of a large house, made all the more interesting by the imaginative art decorating the cellars, helping you spend even more time exploring underground. We recommend visiting

Great shed of vintage and soon to be vintage vehicles to see and explore. To be fair it was a more diverse mix of vehicles than I expected with not just European cars but also many American cars. Bit pricey admission fee considering it is not that large. Also it is literally just an area for you to walk through with no special exhibits or anything.

Very cool. If you are not a huge fan of cars, it's a fast activity, otherwise, I guess you could stay some hours there. But anyway, even not being a fan of cars, it's cool to see some very old models from WWI and WWII. There is some history about each car on its descriptive card, that lays just in front of it. It's worth the visit.

Interesting collection of mainly French vehicles, ranging from pre-war to early 90s. It was a hot day and being in what is essentially a warehouse building, was quite warm inside (too much for my better half). Would be good if there were English translations for the descriptions, but overall interesting and quirky, worth €10 entry if you're a car fan.

Impressive selection with great finds. Some of the mannequins are actually a bit creepy and the signage is only in French. A good half hour or hour is all you need if already in Reims.

I am a big fan of cars and car museums. Unfortunately this one is in need of some attention. The space is a drab industrial building and the focus is on quantity over quality. The cars were jammed together with some actually touching each other. It was not possible to walk around any of the cars so you could not see inside them. The condition of the cars generally left a lot to be desired. I don’t expect them to provide signage in English but it would have made my visit more rewarding. One little thing that really bugged me - every car had a highly visible sticker with the name of the museum website. Some were just on the windscreen but others were right across the bonnet. Overall there were some interesting vehicles but they could have been displayed much better.

Pros: parking for free, English speaking staff, cheap, wc available, small shop, 1 big hall with old cars and 1 smaller room with car-toys, interesting for kids especially for boys... Cons: a little bit cold inside, only a few vehicle brands, no English notes

An amazing place for car enthusiasts. In a side room you can explore models, toys and professional vehicle models. In the main hall, there are already concrete vehicles. For me, the coolest vehicle was the Citroen 2CV, the same vehicle used by the nun in "The Troops of St. Tropez". Tropez" (and the other parts of the gendarme) :-). If you find a moment, it's worth a visit here.

What a delightful motor museum. Traditional in layout with a strong history on prewar French cars. Visit here and you'll find out about marques you'll have forgotten about.

A surprising place with loads of interesting old and vintage cars and motorcycles in Reims. A great place to while away a couple of hours. There is plenty of free parking.

Very nice for a fast trip but expansive

We took our 5 year old son here during a stopover in Reims and he loved it, as he likes old, quirky cars, like his dad 😊 Some really great units in here, the museum is a hidden gem. Lost count of how many pictures I took and sent to the lads back home. Happy to support smaller independent museums like this.

A vast amount to see but labels very poor. Nothing really available in other languages. Not much for younger children to engage with.

Very chaotic organisation of the tour. Everything only in French. It seems that French wants to educate about their history only themselves. Pity.

It was amazing. Loved how quiet and well lighted it was. The war section was my favorite. The park is also just right beside the museum which is pretty convenient. I’d recommend.

If you’ve been to Paris, you’ve likely visited the Musée du Louvre, or the Musée d’Orsay but.. These too-often-overlooked museums are worth visiting, but I found that the Musée Saint-Remi in Reims, France, is one of my favorites. The museum has an exquisite collection of works and at Musée Saint Remy you will find hundreds of fascinating classics. The museum is so well maintained and the staff are very polite and helpful. It was an incredible experience and I would definitely recommend you to put it on your checklist of you are visiting Reims.

Didn’t expect here to find exhibition on Neolithic and Paleolithic ages. Very nice. Although there are some big spider webs.

Mr Fujita, known as a École de Paris’s painter was baptised at Cathédrale Notre Dame de Reims. His artworks are unique, sophisticated and somewhat lovely. Quite interesting to see since its atmosphere is kind of religious and french-Japanese mixed, plus full of hope.

€5 to enter a tiny church is extortionate. With two employees sat there doing nothing It includes a visit to another church that is out the way with no opening times on the internet

I loved the exterior of the church, but unfortunately I did not get to see the interior because it was closed despite the fact that it said on the gate it was supposed to be open from 2 to 6. I went there at 2:15 and then later again at 4:30 but it was not open. I recommend that you plan other activities alongside this if you are planning on visiting because it probably will not be open.

Reims is a rather astounding place at times - there is an American connection, and there is a Japanese connection.

Interesting tour, the chalk caverns were an experience. The guide to manufacture, history or of course tasting were well presented. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend if you are interested in champagne. Go for the double tasting tour, the vintage is so nice. Hope you enjoy your day

We did the guided tour with cheese and it was so amazing Marta was a wonderful knowledgeable guide. The property is stunning and the cellars are incredibly clean. Definitely would recommend a trip but do buy tickets in advance.

Certainly one of the more interesting champagne houses with a great cellar and fantastic champagnes. Unfortunately the tasting itself was not very impressive. They just offer you the drinks and leave. I’d have expected a little more.

Great tour! Learnt a lot. Enjoyed the cocktail drinks! The area to drink was nicely decorated and felt very relaxed atmosphere. Shop had loads to buy compared to their competitors.

Visited the famed Veuve Clicquot Cellars and came away with mixed feelings. Undoubtedly, the quarries underneath are a sight to behold, and the chalky environment maintaining the perfect humidity and freshness for the countless bottles is impressive. Tasting the champagne was a delightful experience. However, one can't shake off the feeling that much of its allure comes from pure marketing mastery. It might seem overrated for those looking beyond the brand's sheen. If you're in the area, I'd recommend taking a detour to explore other, possibly less-commercialized houses for a broader perspective. Overall, three stars

Having come to Reims for a short break, I was excited at the thought of visiting the house of my favourite champagne. Upon checking with Google, we were informed that it was open to visitors. After the three mile trek from our hotel my dreams were soon quashed by the over glamorous receptionist who informed us that all the tours were booked for today and the visitors centre was closed, we were however free to browse the shop. The place looked empty, desolate in fact. The shop was ok, hideously over priced though. I’ll save up my club card points and grab a bargain when it’s on offer in the UK, with much less pomp. After all as I have been wisely reminded by the love of my life ‘it is only fizzy wine after all’.

The House and Cellars were amazing. 30 min tour was perfect for us as a non-French speaking couple. Didn’t understand much but the tour guide was open to questions. The best bit was obviously the tasting plus the Cheeses. Also tried the 2012 Vintage - needless to say, this left us in a very merry mood. Wish there was more of the house to explore but the Terrace was nice enough.

We had the most amazing tour here and got to see everything from the vines in the fields to the end result, and everything in between. I highly recommend the full 4-hour tour. Best thing we have done in Reims! Thank you to our guide, Marta (?). She was amazing!

I was worried at first. It’s very commercial on the surface and the general tasting area is down by the toilets. Not very glamorous and very busy. But the slightly more expensive tour gives you a bit of space and the tastings is in the caves. Really recommend upgrading!

This was my second champagne tasting experience. The cellar tour was good. The big disappointment was tasting at the end of the tour. Almost everyone in my group had dirty / used champagne glasses set neatly at their table. It was awful, to see finger and lip stains on these glasses meant for the tasting experience. Our guide got it changed but the quality meant to be experienced had already been ruined.

A good wine tour that primes your senses and then a great cheese and wine tasting in the caves. A bit chilly so bring a jacket if you're sensitive. Highly recommend the prestige tasting!

We had an amazing tour. Our guide, Clemontine was very sweet and kind. I would highly recommend this tour, as it teaches you about the past and you get to drink vintage and non vintage rosé. We loved it

The visit to the cellar was interesting. Learning about Widow Clicquot was very enlightening. I think since you have to be a certain age to visit the website, that same age limit should apply to visitors to the cellar. We had a sweet little girl on our tour. The guide did a wonderful job accommodating her but you can tell she felt out of place. The tour was straight and to the point. We were lucky enough to taste a 6 year champagne and I now know the proper way to remove the cork on the champagne bottle

We visited for my girlfriends special birthday. It was a brilliant experience. The tone was set by the security guard when we arrived, he was super helpful and very courteous. The guided tour, the cafe and the boutique were superb and the staff were so helpful. The manager was very presentable and made sure our visit was as good as it could have been. Thank you so much.

Honestly I was expecting the tour to be a bit of a tourist trap and be very generic, but I enjoyed the tour bit of this visit. We were led through the VC caves by the visitor center, where they share the history of the champagne house and the champagne making process. Interesting to hear all the background and see the infrastructure that allowed VC to continue production throughout even the world wars and other challenging periods. Would recommend for people to check out with the tour. The cafe looked a bit gimmicky and overpriced. The tasting itself was mediocre and they only gave one glass. Minus one star for that.

Great tasting experience with a full cave tour, vineyard tour, production facility and chateau/garden tour. This was a private experience and only had 5 of us with a private tour guide! The caves were fascinating, the vineyard and garden tour were really nice and the tasting of La Grande Dame was Off. The. Hook! This was 250/person but worth every penny as it was a solid 4 hour experience with a private educator! Totally worth it!

A gem of a champagne house! The staff is fantastic, the maison is gorgeous and spotless. We had a slight hiccup with our TGV, but the staff graciously rescheduled our visit for the same day, even on a Sunday! Highly recommended for an unforgettable experience. Cheers to the team. We ordered different seafood as appetizers and main courses, each ingredient was very fresh, the shrimp was sweet, the oysters were well seasoned, the scallops and fish for the main course had just the right texture. Reservation in advance, the wine list is reasonable priced, recommended!

I wasn’t book the table and unlucky the tables was fully book so recommended to reserve your table to avoid the disappointment. Instead I asked for a take away and just sit and eat close to the market. Oysters are very fresh and testy. Salmon tartare was ok.

We arrived too late on Friday night to eat, but decided to come back on Saturday morning to pick up some oysters, to take home for dinner that night. We made a selection of the six different types of oysters on offer, they were expertly shut for us and packaged on ice so we could take this back to Germany with us. Would definitely recommend, service was friendly, and the seafood looked really fresh.

Fresh seafoods, especially a big range of great quality of oysters pairing with a bottle of champagne… what do you need more in life? I made a promise to myself coming back to Reims to dine here again.

I had a seafood platter in the restaurant in May, the oysters and Normandy crabs were all so fresh and delicious, staffs there were warm and welcoming. The restaurant itself is causal but good enough for casual dining, excellent value. Then i decided to order takeaway for my home party this weekend, the delivery was professionally made in a van with fridge, everything put on a tray presented nicely, the oysters and crabs were all freshly opened up for us, taste and texture was again awesome. The party were so successful and ended with good comments on the seafood platter by every guest.

Amazing little chic decorated seafood restaurant with wonderful selection of champagnes and seafood. They had everything you can imagine from huge selection of oysters, grilled clams in butter, giant shrimp & prawns, lobsters, langoustines, fresh fish grilled or tartar, many more !!! Seafood was super fresh and superbly cooked by chef !! Accompanied by attentive waitress it was a wonderful evening of culinary delight with amazing champagne :-) I will definitely be back again next in Reims ;-)

Beautiful fish market that had a small ~8 table restaurant in the back. We arrived before they opened and grabbed the last table available. The food is of high quality and well prepared. Every thing was simply prepared without a lot of sauces or seasoning. Oysters were offered as a selection of the local coast or individually. Their home smoked fish was perfectly done. A great surprise - we would definitely return.

This little restaurant is a no brainer. It serves only shells and shellfish, raw fish as tartar or treated with smoke, (like the fabulous Anguille), various versions of white tarama, caviar and-to cut a long story short-whatever suits a fine Champagne. One of the many of the exquisite wine list. Excellent value for money

Very good food! Refined and flavorful paired with good wine! It.s also close to the cathedral of Reims. Make sure you reserve up front, either wise it.s fully booked!

We chose the 3 course menu over tapas as there not many warm dishes on the tapas menu and we were looking for something more hearty. A few champagne choices by the glass were available including one vintage. Bottle prices on wine were reasonable with some good value options. Dinner was great, they served a foie crime brûlée as amuse. Between two of us we had a four starter, crab tart, beef fillet, veal fillet, a cheese course and a shared panda cotta. For the cheese corse they come with a list of 10 or 12 cheeses and you can build your own plate among a diverse selection so that was really nice. Only criticism was ordered the filet a point and found it a bit over cooked. Maybe because we were not French they thought they were doing us a favor but I sometimes struggle with steak in restaurants unless I specify an exact temperature. Suggest to get it bleu if you want it pink throughout.

Our waiter was friendly and helped us through the different translations on the menu, but that is where the two stars come from. The rest of the experience was strange for a restaurant in Reims. The restaurant decor is an akward mix of pink and purple, and the tables and chairs are really in need of replacing. The menu is printed like it is from a college take out joint, and the pages are out of order for how you would expect to use the menu to order. We ordered 2 pri fix which were three courses for €100. The first course I had was a salmon and shrimp smoked type of patè... The flavor was bland and the attempt to make the shrimp a curry flavor was just misaligned. The chef tried to put the plate together like a fancy Michelin starred dish, but it really just made it hard to eat. My entree was a white fish that was over cooked and again the plate was put together with the components all over the place and there were flavors that just didn't belong. We ended up taking our cheese course to go. I would skip this place.... Not good.

Lunch in The Anna-S Restaurant. An amazing classic French cousin with an Asian influence with a half a bottle of Bordeaux's wine of course at Reims a city of Châmpagne .:-) Service style could be more relaxe.

For a spontaneous trip to Champagne in France, I was looking very late for booking a culinary dinner experience and all Michelin Star rated restaurants very as expected fully booked for a Saturtday. I finally found a table in Anna-S located in the heart of Reims, France. While the restaurant itself is lacking the extravagant flair found in some upscale establishments, it more than made up for it with its incredible food and charming service. Despite some challenges with parking, the overall value for the price was exceptional and I can recommend a visit if you are looking for a dining experience that prioritizes remarkable flavors and charming service over a stylish setting.

It's 4th time that we are enjoying dinner at Anna-S. Each time we are happy to discover new creations. The quality is as usual excellent. This time we liked everything, but the dessert was a pure flavor explosion in the mouth. Thank you for your hard work and such a welcoming attitude!

Very nice 3 course lunch! Small but elegant French restaurant

We had a wonderful experience at this beautiful and historic hotel. We felt like we were at Versailles yet just steps away from the main part of town. We were in France for a month celebrating a milestone birthday and ate at many Michelin-starred restaurants but Le Parc was the very best. Our room was lovely and the entire staff is helpful and just exceptional.The only problem was we only booked one night. I hope we can return for a longer stay.

This is possibly the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at. Our room (Junior Suite) was stunning and the staff was so friendly. The hotel helped us book a tour at Veuve Clicquot at a discounted price. Reims is a gorgeous city and I would highly recommend seeing it from Domaine Les Crayères.

Words will definitely fall short on expressing how incredible this property and staff truly are…the property itself is dreamy! It felt so comfortable and welcoming all the while also so luxurious! The staff is amazing and makes you feel at home in this perfect location within the champagne region (literally walked to Veuve for our tour) We enjoyed our evenings in the bar enjoying the extensive champagne and wine lists as well as a delicious dinner in the brassiere! If you are lucky enough to visit this region do yourself a favor and spend some time at Les Crayeres!

The place is very pretty, the staff is kind and the restaurant Le Parc was amazing, but we got a room outside the castle so we felt left out of the experience. We could have just gone to Le Parc and then sleep somewhere else, the price of the night is not justified at all. I would not recommend this place.

This was the best experience I have ever had staying in a hotel. The food, the service, the atmosphere and amenities were all 5 - stars across the board. I will 100% be coming back to Les Creyeres and recommending it to everyone visiting France.

Updated: Sadly aftercare even worse as I tried to express the areas of disappointment and provide feedback. The tone is that of attack if feedback isn't favourable rather than on-boarding and improving service. Clearly if you read more reviews there's a pattern of dismissing foreigners feelings of alienation. Rude behaviour is simply unacceptable regardless of race. Credit where its due is the fantastic restaurant staff and their brilliant service. Hotel, a must avoid and one's better off at the royal champagne hotel by epernay. Grounds, views and service are excellent and worthy of an actual stay beyond a meal. Original: Arrival was lovely then it turned into a nightmare. Deeply disturbing staff member, dismissive and ill informed. Slightly racist behaviour and absolutely unworthy of a relais chateaux branding. Such a disappointment.

Wonderful boutique property that exemplifies chamenoise style with a real sense of place. Building and grounds are elegant. Gorgeous room with lovely amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed the bar area and breakfast (served in ** restaurant Le Parc) was a feast for the senses. Service was warm, but highly polished. I thoroughly recommend Les Crayeres for those visiting Reims who want a refined upscale experience.

What a wonderful hotel. Truly five star service from the moment you are greeted at your car. From the valet and porter, to the front desk, to the cleaning service, and of course the incredible restaurant team, every single touch point was lovely. Bravo, you’ve hired and trained well. I stayed 2 days at each of Les Crayeres, L’Assiette Champenoise and the Royal champagne hotel and spa. Les Crayeres blew the other two out of the water. The hotel is romantic and French but also fresh and beautifully decorated. What really set it apart though, was the service. The other two had a snottyness to them at almost every interaction. Les Crayeres was the opposite- if a server from the restaurant saw you needed help with bags while the porters were busy they would run over to help. Want a restaurant reservation even though they are fully booked? They will make every effort to find a space for a hotel guest. Want help sourcing something? They’re on it. Here we were not constantly told that everything we did was extra, impossible, not allowed, unavailable. Instead the team made every effort to make your every desire come true. Le Parc restaurant is insane and wonderful and full of surprises. Go! the Jardin restaurant is a bit of a machine, but well priced and the food was excellent. I’ll certainly return to this wonderful hotel.

From the moment we drove into the property and we stepped out of our car, we had a very warm welcome. Our room wasn't ready but we were taken to the beautiful terrace and offered a lovely glass of champagne and some nibbles - again great service. The room, the service, the staff, the breakfast, I can't fault anything at all. Everything was perfect! I will definitely return as we did not get a reservation at Le Jardin and we still have many champagne houses to visit. Thank you again for making our stay so memorable!

This property is incredible (even in the rain) and the staff are truly professional and delightful. This was a celebration for us and whilst I thought we might feel inferior to other guests based on the prestige nature of the hotel, the staff were absolutely perfect, kind and treated us like all guests. We enjoyed a delicious dinner in the brassiere and then negronis after in the bar. The room was perfect and luxurious in every way. We also really appreciated the electric charging facilities on the property. We stayed two glorious nights. Need another excuse to visit again!

There could not have been a better backdrop to spend a couple days celebrating my 40th birthday. The service, decor, food and incredible selection of champagne made this one of the best birthdays and hotel stays I've ever had. The staff was incredible and another part of what made this stay so special. I look forward to being able to return to this property in the future.

I have travelled alot both through business and pleasure, yet I am happy to say that year after year, visit after visit, Les Crayères reminds me why I truly believe it is my favourite hotel in the world. The service is just incredible, the food at Le Parc is fabulous - this hotel is just exquisite. Thank you to every member of staff who makes this experience wonderful every time.

The restaurant despite being nicely decorated (in a modern minimalistic way, probably Japanese) has some issues. First of all, the lights are way too white for a pleasant dinner. Also, in my opinion, the place screams for a better chef de rang, someone really into the position to organize things there. Also I noticed an annoying negligence in the restaurant materials (different types of ice buckets, the waiters wearing different colors of sanitary masks, the tablecloths with signs of being packed and not ironed after). The food was great, without blowing my mind, things that I would expect in a Michelin starred restaurant. The faults are not big, but I was a bit disappointed as I was expecting more from this restaurant.

We had a 4 course meal, the appatizers where good maybe a little heave. The rest of the courses where fantastic and the sommelier helped us choose our wine with some of the dishes and matched perfect. When entering the restaurant it felt really formal but the host and staff made it a pleasant experience.

Please be advised that if you plan to dine at the restaurant, refrain from viewing my photos. The restaurant offers a blind tasting menu, and foreknowledge of the dishes could diminish the overall experience. It's worth noting that the menu undergoes frequent changes; hence, my post, several months post-visit. Following the advice of a wise man that manages a Michelin star restaurant, I seek out restaurants aspiring to attain or reclaim Michelin stars. Le Millenaire aligns with this principle. The service was exemplary, characterized by impeccable presentation. The culinary experience was a harmonious blend of flavors and combinations, delivering a gastronomic delight. What set it apart was the blind tasting nature of the menu—each dish unveiling itself as a delightful surprise. Oddly enough, my only critique of the evening was that it was too bright for a dinner service. Every dish was thoughtfully composed and we enjoyed every last bite. If chef doesn’t earn a star soon, I’d be very shocked.

Was there 10 years ago and it was best meal I ate in my life at that time. My wife and I were very happy we could book for this trip to Remis. Still one of best meals I've ever had. Staff top notch. Experience 5 stars from start to finish.

We had yet another incredible lunch at Le millenaire. We chose the surprise menu - We love it because it’s a great cross section of all the wonderful things on the menu/ carte. Great/ beautiful/ magnificent / delicious are just a few of the words that come to mind. Extremely attentive and polite service; fresh, high quality products creatively prepared and served with a great wine selection featuring both large and small houses in a high class atmosphere. Staff is multilingual and helpful in every way. The restaurant delivers a „next level experience“ without regrets. We will return.

Good but not special. Have a feeling that it is quite commercial. Everything is fine but not what we would expect from a 1-Michelin star restaurant. However the price is lower than usual. I would not complain so much. Price - Top. 4 menu courses + 4 complementary courses for 65€. Food - good but not excellent. Some how the main dishes are very greasy. The taste was not so fine but somehow quite salty and fatty. No surprising dishes. All ingredients are just ‘too normal’ Ambiance- The dining room is like a conference room for our taste. It was too bright. The paintings are not so stylish. Service -Good but not memorable. When they served the food, they sometimes explained what the food was but they sometimes didn’t. We would expect them to explain what we are going to eat and why it is so special. The weiters did their job but it is not memorable. Not so personal somehow.

I've been dining here few times while visiting champagne Houses, therefore always with set menus. The food is spectacular, lovely presented and deliciously prepared. Service is very efficient, I always keep an extra eye for wine service, and here is always been spot on. You definitely have to enjoy the full 3+ course experience as portion are Michelin star size. (appart from desert which always seems very nice size).... Enjoy

One of the best meals in Europe out of 3 weeks of eating nonstop in Michelin restaurants . This restaurant deserves 2 Michelin stars as the food quality is amazing, the value for $ is incredible and the service is on point, the wine list is extensive and the cheese cart is to die for as is the the coffee menu offering 10-12 selections.I can’t say more! It is amazing must visit for true lovers of gastronomy and wine.

The place is in the middle of Reims city, to find parking there is a city parking lot. We got the menu with the lobster and sea bass. And my they were amazing!! My brother tried the duck and it was also absolutely delightful. My dad had the tuna tartar but that was really average, could have been better and fish should have been more fresh. We tried the blackforest and it was amazing. We also got the little cakes after desert. We recommend eating less bread to enjoy the portions of different foods! It’s worth going here!!

We had the tasting menu which had some excellent plates and some very good plates. I guess I thought it would all be excellent given the Michelin star so slightly disappointed. Fantastic cheese though. Staff all friendly apart from the maître d who never cracked a smile. Overall I'd recommend it as a dining experience.

We had heard Le Foch was a great deal. We had heard the food was good. We went and were still stunned. First of all, the food is truly excellent. Almost every dish was an absolute hit. We enjoyed the food here more than we enjoyed far more expensive and storied restaurants in Paris. Second, the price is criminally low. Of course, we are anchored a bit too high having come from Paris, but we felt we were paying half as much as we should have for the meal. That said, the service is really mediocre. They do not have enough staff, and the speed and quality of service do not match the fine dining experience you'd expect. But still, absolutely 5 stars because the food and price are just out of this world.

For a break in my Michelin Stars Challenge in Paris (and 3 stars in France, follow me for all the reviews), I went to Reims. I wanted to try two local references (the third stars is coming later). The establishment. What’s interesting here? You get a feeling it’s the establishment of choice for a Michelin star night for a local. Of course you have 2 and 3 stars around. But if you want « just » a one star, with a family feeling, with a good ratio of locals. It’s the place. The manager who is also the wife of the chef and the wine expert, is the spirit of the room. The cuisine is quite personal. The chef expresses himself, but without being too present. He has a true personality. Bottom line, you won’t go wrong food wise. The crowd is the upscale outside of Paris crowd, but the food and the service makes you easily for this and spend a good time. Understandably a solid one star

It's an interesting and lovely experience when I tasted beef tartare with oyster combination as starter. Monkfish was also good!! I was satisfied with all dishes.

It is no wonder that this restaurant is Michellin starred. Every dish was sophisticated. I had dégustation menu and this is much more reasonable than the one at 1 starred restaurant in Paris. I overate. They have a lot of champagne selections, as you can imagine. As for the meal,especially langostines and scallops were wonderful about the way they grilled. Also the deer meat was perfectly grilled. I want to come back again.

Certainly not 2 Michelin star. Forgotten by staff. 12 minutes to clear a plate, 16 minutes to top up wine, 11 minutes with an empty water glass and nobody of the 10 staff working to even say goodbye when leaving. One of the worst restaurants I’ve experienced. Someone serving wine that can’t even answer a basic question such as “how long was this aged in barrel, or what soil and region was this from” is completely unacceptable. An appetiser that was so unpalatable it was complained about. Wine that was served that should have been decantered. A somellier that wanted to argue with me. I have received friendlier and better service in non Michelin star restaurants than here. As someone staying at the hotel in a $2K per night suite, this is certainly not what was expected and is very upsetting.

There are already a lot of reviews on Le Parc and the exeptional quality of the food, the service and the stunning location which are per se a good enough reason to try this restaurant at this last once in a lifetime. What struck me the most though was how genuinely kind and nice the whole team working here is. Each customer was being taken care of in a very formal but at the same time warm and funny way which made our whole stay there our most pleasant Michelin star experience to date.

Gorgeous meal and incredible service.

Le Parc was very stingy with the wine poured for the pairing, leaving my wife and I with empty glasses and no food for multiple 15-20 minute periods throughout the night. Not the kind of service I would expect from a place with a michelin star, much less one with two. The food also was just okay. The building was very cool, but we were shocked that others had recommended this place given how poor our experience was. I would highly recommend l'assiette champenoise over Le Parc. We went to both restaurants on a recent visit, and while l'assiette was slightly more expensive, the value was much greater.

My father died unexpectedly in the middle of our trip and we had to fly home immediately. I called to cancel our reservation and no one answered at the time so I left a message informing them of the circumstances. The restaurant emailed me 2 days later informing me that I was charged 500 Euros for missing my reservation. When I called to explain the circumstances, I was greeted with rudeness and no empathy. I was informed I was too late and there was nothing to be done. Not even a simple “our condolences” was granted to me. I have frequented many nice, Michelin star restaurants and have never been treated so poorly and with such lack of consideration. I wasn’t even offered a credit for the 500 euros to be used in the future, which could have been the easiest solution. Everyone I have told has been shocked. No matter how good the food is, and I will never know, the treatment of their customers is horrendous.

The pros : memorable culinary experience, excellent service, beautiful setting, in particular the conservatory next to the bar. Special mention for the glazed pigeon. The cons : service became a bit slow towards the end of the meal

Incredible service (almost edging in the service being too attentive). Gorgeous decor. Take a drink in the salon prior to dinner. Fantastic wine list. Dom by the glass, and they had a Chateau Margaux available by the glass via Coravin. An entire 50 page menu of champagnes, in addition to a 2nd book of wines. Had a wonderful white burgundy at a great cost. The food was very good, although the wine & service & decor were the most memorable parts of our visit

The restaurant has 2 Michelin stars at the time of writing, and judging from what everyone else is saying, the restaurant may soon be awarded the third star, hence I am going to review this restaurant as if it is already a 3 Michelin star restaurant. My wife and I came for dinner on a Saturday. Coming to a restaurant like the Le Parc should be an “experience”, not purely a “meal”. Overall the experience was memorable and we had a lovely evening. Service: Very attentive, plenty of staff around us, which is expected for restaurants at this level. My wife had some issue with the potatoes that came with her chicken dish, which we promptly told the staff in charge of our table. Given we are tourists from a foreign country, we had expected that the staff would just keep the comment to himself (i.e. it would be ignored). To our pleasant surprise, the manager in charge (Max) was notified and promptly came to our table to understand the issue, and he quickly apologized on behalf of the kitchen. Sometimes when customers make a comment, the restaurant would try to “explain” out of the issue, or try to brush away the issue with some excuses, or even try to blame the issue on the customer. Happily, Max was different, he reacted humbly, he was quick to apologize, which we gladly accepted with a warm smile. From a customer perspective, we felt our comment was respected, and we feel the team deserves a 3 Michelin star from service perspective. I give Max the maximum score here. Food: As I said, I am judging this restaurant as if it had already had 3 Michelin stars. We had the “Voyage avec Le Chef” menu. The ingredients were all good, and we found no fault with the execution (except for the potatoes in my wife’s dish which I mentioned above, and if I can be picky, I felt the fish skin could be a little more crispy). However there wasn’t any surprise in the taste of any of the dishes (except for desserts). The amuse bouche (no pictures included here) were just boring in look and taste, didn’t quite excited our taste buds. I am sure some customers would find the food here perfect, but to us the taste lacks any wow factor (for clarity, when I say wow factor, I am referring to the taste of the food, not whether the food is Instagrammable). After all, a 3 Michelin star restaurant is defined as “exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey”. To us, the Le Parc is unable to meet this from a food perspective. Dessert: the desserts however were all good, and in our view deserve 3 Michelin stars. Well done to the team in charge of the dessert.

As a break in trying every Parisian Michelin Stars in less than a year (follow me for all the reviews) I went to Reims. It’s a love letter from an man to his adopted region. It’s a two stars Michelin, so my usual question here is what is extraordinary, because you need to stand out to get a second star (in France, there’s roughly 7 times less 2 stars than one, and “only” 2 times more than three). I’ll start with the 2 most obvious points and I’ll finish with a more personal one. The package setting and service. Starting when your car enter the domain, to the dining room, it’s gorgeous. It’s more class than luxury. Let me rephrase, they went for very luxurious but removed the shiny “dorures “ (golden stuff) and focused on the craftsmanship, the wood, the quality. Basically, it looks luxurious because it is luxurious, not because it s shiny (I made a small video where you can see the interior ). The service is at par. You’re in a Relais & Châteaux, the high end hotels association based in France. It’s the best service you can have, with the palaces. The ratio staff/customers is excellent, and the staff is amongst the best coming from everywhere in France. For example one of our sommelier, was from Burgundy. But this is just a transition (to say thanks to him) and to speak about the second obvious point: The Champagne! I’ve already said it in several reviews, but a low sugar dosage Champagne, preferably Blanc de Noirs, is the best wine to accommodate a gastronomic meal. It won’t be in conflict with the chef expression. Trust me and try it. If you’re afraid of looking too decadent, do like me, drink it in wine glasses… (actually it’s also better for the tasting so it’s a double win). And if there’s a place to try it, it’s here! The wine card is a monument. So much so that I forgot about my phone and taking pictures! I would recommend to ask the sommelier for recommendations. I didn’t do so, I went straight for some of my favorites. But if you love Champagne, this is the place. This is the moment. Which brings me to the last point, I know someone who loves Champagne Region and came here: the Chef. First, the chef is a MOF (Meilleur Ouvrier de France- Best French Craftsman). It’s an incredibly difficult and selective competition, that makes your food reality show looks like kid play. I’ve already spoke in length about it in other reviews (Chabotterie, pré catelan, Solstice, Relais louis xiii, etc…), so I’ll stop here. The common point is perfection. Every dish is view as a work of art and has to be perfect, complete. Look at the play with texture, acidity etc… Every dish is a stand alone work of art. But that’s not the point here. The point is that the Chef uses his skill to express his love for the region. Was he in love before or did he fall in love once there? Big question ;-) But the fact that is looking for small producers, the way is associating etc… would make me think of the later. Still the question is more “will you fall in love with the Champagne region “? Well, this restaurant should at least give you a strong push. The crowd/mood: Quite high end. But you don’t care. Dress well, have some Champagne and forget about them. A very solid two stars enamored with the region. Ps: Dear moderation algorithm, tell me what’s the issue here?

We were there to celebrate a birthday of a friend and they took wonderfully care of us. Amazing good food, we decided to go with the menu. We went for a Selosse night, so 4 bottles of Champagne to pair and it was the highlight of our trip. Thank you so much l'équipe Le Parc ! We will come back again. Cheers

The gourmet restaurant of Domaine Les Crayeres helmed chef Philippe Mille assisted by renowned champagne expert Philippe Jamesse as the head sommelier has the formula for perfect success. The restaurant is elegantly decorated with classic exuberance. The service staff were outstanding and well trained. The food amazing and perfectly paired with the appropriate champagne and wine. Amuse Bouches for dinner were served in the patio with champagne which was very pleasant and chic. We proceeded to dinner proper in doors seated next to the window thus witnessing the beautiful twilight and sunset. The foie gras terrine with Ratafia of champagne accompanied by rhubarb and strawberry chutney was delicious. The next dish of wild whiting in champagne reduction with peas and shell was superb. The Pigeon from Montagne de Reims cooked in its own jus really is incredible. Worthy of its 2 Michelin star.

I would totally recommend this restaurant, the staff was assertive and very friendly, the food was amazing!!!! And ambience is unique. I'm glad I made reservation a month ago... make sure to send them an email and make reservation before you come.

Came to Reims from Paris for champagne tasting and had planned to visit this restaurant since it had good reviews. It didn’t disappoint, service, food and prices were way better than Paris.

Wife and I had a great dinner at L'Alambic. Food and service were both fantastic and they were able to modify a few dishes to gluten free for my wife. We had a table down in the cellar, which was only about 10-15 stairs.

We had a really nice dinner at l'Alambic. The downstairs room has a definite charm to it. Service was good, but felt a bit rushed at times. Food was excellent.

We had a gallette, it was very nice, they offer nice food, friendly service and good value. Just a 10 minute walk from the station, Galettes are gluten free.

I only like to leave positive reviews or none at all but A l'ere Du Temps was exceptional. I felt I really had to share my experience given their write up on Lonely Planet and generally positive Facebook reviews. It seems they are at the point of hanging their hat (their guaranteed trade) off of such reviews. My experience was terrible - the worst I've received in all of France. I arrived at 9:17pm, alone, cold and hungry after a long day. They advertise their closing ti,e as 9:30pm, so when entering by myself to a basically empty venue on a Tuesday night I would expect that's ok and to receive a quick crepe. Instead, the staff member was so rude, I felt so unwelcome, he basically pretty much steered me out the door by the shoulder and told me to go away. I've never been treated with such astonishing rudeness in my life and I wanted to tell other people walking to this venue expecting the nice experience they might have read about in Lonely Planet that they should perhaps look at the many other cafes, bistros and restaurants dotted about the city. Try them out as this place is not worth the experience if you value any form of customer service.

Closing time does not mean anything to this place. I should have read the earlier reviews. My family and I showed up at 9pm on a Saturday to have sweet crepes and we were refused entry though their closing time is 9:30pm. Even the begging kids could not convince the staff to let us in after a long walk from the center of Reims.

We loved our visit to Le Coq Rouge. It felt like a neighborhood joint and the owner seemed to know everyone who walked by. We only wanted to stay for a drink but ended up getting a bottle and several dishes. The wine was amazing and the food was satisfying. Highly recommend visiting if you are in Reims!

We’re not native french speaking but they gave us the opportunity to express ourselves and when met with confusion they clarified with english. Service also extremely friendly and we would definitely recommend dining here

Wow!!! Amazing champagnes and wine selection. The charcuterie platter was one of the best we had. What was the best part? The absolutely amazing 5 star service. Thank you for a wonderful evening in Reims

EDIT: Second time coming back and our experience is still fantastic as ever! 💖 The servers here are absolutely wonderful 💖 definitely one of the best restos in the city center! 💖 Been wanting to try L'apostrophe ever since I moved to Reims! 💖 I've been passing by it for a while now and i was always in awe how elegant the facade was from outside. I'm happy to say it was equally as beautiful inside! 💖 I went here around 7:30pm and was seated immediately. Despite the busy dinner service, it's not too hard to be seated as the place is deceivingly big inside! The Mojito was great. It had just the right amount of punch to it. Most restaurants make the mistake of putting too much syrup that you can't even taste the rhum so I recommend this one. I had a Carbonnade de bœuf and I'm still raving about it! The beef was tender and the sauce was not overpowering. My partner had a filet de bar. It was cooked perfectly, was not too salty and the veggies complemented it well My only comment is: steer away from the Asian dishes! They are far from authentic and you are better of just trying some of their other offerings. Overall, I'm very happy with my experience and I see myself coming back to try other dishes in the future!

For Reims is one of the best and surely the best in the busiest centre area. Most of bars sell poor cocktails, zero service and decadent food. This place is a must go. Don't waste your time and money and go to the L'apostrophe

Not terrible, but definitely not the best place to eat. We waited our food for more than an hour (!), tuna was dry and overdone, and cod tasted like paper… for the same (not cheap) price you can get much better food in Reims

Nice place to eat. The menu is quiet diverse, so everybody can find his/her taste. The service is quick and super friendly. Next to that the interior is very nice and cosy, fit for a tete-a-tete or large groups. A place to visit again in the future!

Simple meal choices, but great salads... I ordered the Caesar salad. Fun drink choices with or without alcohol

Expect a loooong waiting time but the food & wine we're worth it. Try the duck breast. Small tables placed too near to one another could be too close for comfort for some who may not want to feel they're eating right next to a stranger. But hey, maybe it's a French thing idk.

When I read the reviews I was skeptical about the service. But I was surprised the service was great and the staff were super amazing. We got a risotto and pad Thai. The risotto was average but the prawns were amazing. They were fresh and delicious The pad Thai was also yummy with sufficient prawns and chicken, portions are huge. I do believe they need a bit more flavour in the pad Thai. The location is also great! Sit outside and enjoy the Reims city

The ambience of this restaurant is quite nice. However, the service is really not upto the mark. My friend ordered pasta and it was served cold. Another friend got his steak medium rare when he asked for rare. My husband got his steak well done when he asked for medium rare. He was chewing his steak until wayy after we were done! It was obvious that they were understaffed, it was really not the waiters fault. The champagne was great though! And the waiter poured it nicely for us. Everything considered, this place is more like a tourist trap.

We had a great experience at L’Apostrophe, delicious food and a beautiful restaurant. A great atmosphere between the staff with lots of joy and love.

One of the best meals I've ever eaten! We had the prix-fixe lunch special, and it was so much food. We ended up taking some to go and having a delightful treat later that day. The special included three courses - an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert. It also included coffee or tea, and a glass of wine. All for about $20 USD. It was delightful! The staff was attentive and kind, and the flavors and presentation of the food were impeccable! I highly recommend, and can't wait to return?
