Established in 1957, Immaculate Conception School has been educating
and developing successful young men and women for over 60 years.
We are located in historic Somerville, New Jersey and offer a full-day curriculum for grades Pre-K through eight.
Summer assignments should be completed over the summer months and are expected to be handed in on the first day of school. Additionally, the following teachers are available to work one-on-one with students for either subject-specific requests or for help completing their summer packets.
Please bring all school supplies in on August 29th (for students entering Pre-K - Grade 2) or on the first day of school (Grades 3 - 8).
Immaculate Conception School announces three transportation routes for the 2024-2025 school year!
The Flemington / Hillsborough Route begins at the Diamond Nation Complex in Flemington, making stops along the Rt. 202 corridor and Hillsborough before dropping students off at Immaculate Conception School.
The Hunterdon Route begins at Immaculate Conception School in Annandale and makes a handful of stops along Route 22 before reaching Immaculate Conception School in Somerville.
The Franklin route begins at the intersection of Butler Road and South Middlebush Road in Franklin Township and makes numerous stops throughout the township before arriving at Immaculate Conception School.
The movie Cabrini depicts the life of Catholic missionary and saint, Mother Francesca Cabrini, as she established her ministry in New York City between 1889 through 1896. Cabrini explores the challenges and obstacles she faced in New York City in the late 19th Century. Join us on Saturday, June 8 at 2:30 pm in the Immaculata High School Theater.
The running time for the film is 2 hours 20 minutes. After the film, Msgr. Joseph Celano will offer a spiritual reflection with an opportunity for Q&A. Since this film is still in the theaters, Angels Studios requires us to charge admission. $11 for adults and $9 for children 12 and under (plus taxes and service fees).
Immaculate Conception School’s long-time music teacher Ceil Cullen and Immaculata High School AP English teacher Nancy Bonham have been named recipients of the 2024 Lux Dei (Light of God) awards by Monsignor Joseph Celano, Pastor and Director of Schools, Church of the Immaculate Conception. The award, now in its second year, recognizes a staff member from each of the parish’s two schools for exemplary commitment to the sacred mission of Catholic education.
