Mohammed Kudus has just said something that will have the West Ham fans absolutely buzzing

West Ham United have a genuine superstar on our hands in the form of Mohammed Kudus.

Mohammed Kudus joined West Ham from Ajax in a deal worth around £38 million back in the summer of 2023.

The 23-year-old attacker has enjoyed an elite debut campaign with the Hammers, and has already been strongly linked with an £85 million move to Liverpool.

Kudus has bagged 14 goals and six assists in 44 games in all competitions for West Ham this season (Transfermarkt).

The Ghanian is loving life at the London Stadium right now, and proved that last month by suggesting that he’d like his countryman Emmanuel Danso to join him at the club:

“You don’t know him, but you will know him soon. He’s called Emmanuel Danso. I played with him way back from Ghana when I was growing up and he’s one of the best players I’ve ever played with. I’ve played with a lot of players, but he’s the one, he’s like my age. He’s a defensive midfielder, a number six, both feet, passing, I’ve always loved him.”

“You need to recommend him to West Ham, the interviewer said, and Kudus responded, ‘Right, right, she’s hearing it so let’s get the conversation outside, yeah.”

Kudus apparently does have a release clause inserted into his current contract, but it won’t become active until the summer of 2025.

So we should be able to keep hold of him for at least one more season. Now the Ghana international has said something that should really excite the Hammers fans…

Mohammed Kudus comments will have West Ham fans buzzing

The former Ajax man has been an instant hit for the Hammers in the Premier League, what with his pace and power.

The man is a constant menace for opposing defenders and has been by favourite West Ham player to watch this season.

But what can we expect from the 23-year-old next season and beyond?

As quoted by WHUFC.com, Kudus said, “I’ve been here almost a full season now, but I still have a lot more to show and I believe this is just the beginning.”

Now, that’s a seriously exciting prospect isn’t it.

West Ham star Mohammed Kudus already looks like a world-beater to me, and if there’s more to come from him next season then Premier League defenders will be in for a real fright.

The biggest challenge for the Hammers will be keeping the Ghanaian superstar in the making at the London Stadium beyond the summer of 2025.

That really won’t be an easy task.
