How to view your Secret Recovery Phrase or Private Keys

Browser Extension

To access the seed phrase or private key of your wallet in the browser extension, follow these steps:

1. Click on the pencil icon located at the top of your wallet. This will open the settings menu.
2. In the settings menu, you will find an option to view your seed phrase and private keys.

Mobile App

If you are using the mobile app, you can view the seed phrase or private key of your wallet by following these steps:

1. Tap on the wallet name at the top of your screen. This will open the wallet settings.
2. Look for the pencil icon next to the wallet that you want to view the seed phrase of.
3. Select the pencil icon, and then choose either the seed phrase or private key.

Here are a few important points to keep in mind:

• Wallets that are imported with a private key will only have the option to view the private key. The seed phrase option is not available for these wallets.
• Private key accounts are not tied to the wallet's seed phrase. They have a separate seed phrase that was generated when the wallet was created.
• If you do not see the option to view the seed phrase or private key, it means you are using a Ledger wallet. Ledger wallets do not have these options visible in Phantom and it's important to never use your Ledger seed phrase in Phantom.
