Aaradhya then spoke a few words about her mother’s charity work and said, “I think what she is doing is truly important and truly wonderful. It’s truly enriching and fulfilling. It’s helping the world, it’s helping everyone around us, helping people. And I just want to say that what you are doing is truly incredible.”

Aishwarya was visibly proud of her daughter as the 11-year-old took a bow after her speech.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been very selective about her films in the last few years. She was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan films and received a lot of acclaim for her work in the two movies. It is rumoured that Aishwarya might be teaming up with Vikram again for another Mani Ratnam film though there is no official announcement about the same.
