OK, so as a Scifi fan, this show does a great job of the "what if" question if the Russian's got to the moon first. Season one does a great job exploring this. For best viewing results, I'd maybe consider watching on Apple TV - the BluRay seems to have a slight delay in the audio, like it's not synced up in places.

I've waited literally years for the release of 'For All Mankind' on DVD. Goodness knows why it took so long (Apple, what's the story?). Without giving away too much of the story, the alternative history timeline is done well with the number of Apollo missions going way past the 18 that actually happened in real life.
Be prepared for a LOT of sub plots, sometimes as many as half a dozen in an episode. These are still woven together cleverly though so don't be put off, and of course there are the usual 'mistake and redemption arc' storylines.
Sadly it isn't wall-to-wall space travel but the special effects and the flight sequences are good and give you a sense of what the space program was like and what could have been if things were different...

The program is excellent and a great alternate history. The issue that I've got is similar to others here. I pre-ordered this a while ago and season one was due to be released in November but now I'm wondering if it's ever coming out! It was moved to the beginning of December, then just before Christmas and early January. Now it's March next year. Very disappointing....

My Disk 4, last episode froze up about 10 minutes from end. Took disk out, wiped it, tried again, still froze up. Tried it in my other Blu-Ray Player and it froze up at exactly the same spot.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BLU-RAY !!! Also, with shipping, it cost just over $68.00.
I really wanted to see how the last episode ended, but Apple TV for $12.99/month is way too much!!!

I can't post a super detailed review but let me just say this was definitely worth the purchase for me. Blu-ray video quality is better than streaming video quality. Hopefully we get the rest of the series on Blu-ray and hopefully we'll also see this get released on Ultra HD Blu-ray in the future.
