  1. Dogwood and Woodbine Loop
    Moderate4.3(1128)
#1 - Dogwood and Woodbine Loop
    Length: 4.2 miEst. 1h 45m
If you're looking for a great hike in the park that combines two amazing trails, then this is the perfect option for you. The hike is filled with lush greenery and plenty of early spring flowers to admire. The Woodbine Trail is mostly a shaded walk through the woods, while the Dogwood Trail section is longer and features a couple of challenging hill sections. You'll also have the opportunity to connect with many other trails in the extensive trail system.
  2. Trail Among the Trees and Rock Quarry Trail
    Moderate4.6(513)
#2 - Trail Among the Trees and Rock Quarry Trail
    Length: 3.8 miEst. 1h 35m
This trail is a longer combination of the shorter Trail Among the Trees and Rock Quarry trails. It runs counterclockwise so that visitors can complete the road section at the beginning of the hike. The road is crossed once more when transferring between the two trails, but otherwise, this is an enjoyable, moderate hike in the woods.
  3. Dogwood Trail
    Easy4.4(734)
    #3 - Dogwood Trail
    Length: 2.2 miEst. 57m
Dogwood Trail has several spurs and is located in the central portion of the park. From the trailhead, which it shares with Woodbine Trail, Dogwood Trail travels north and includes several steep inclines. It rises and falls several times over the maximum altitude change in the park, about 300 feet. The change in elevation allows you to see the wide variety of forest habitats found within the park. Chert, flint-like rock, is exposed in some of the slopes of dry ridges on this trail. The trail...

    Length: 6.7 miEst. 2h 41m
This is one of the longer loops in the Babler State Park trail systems. This trail is intended to be multi-use and is shared by horseback riders and hikers. The trail is well-maintained and easy to navigate, but there is not much cell reception in the area, and it is suggested to download the map offline to orient.

#7 - Wildwood Community Park Trail
    Length: 2.0 miEst. 46m

Dogwood and Woodbine Loop
Although it had rained the day before, there were only a few really slick and muddy spots. The hardest section to navigate was the elevation change just before the Woodbine loop on the connector between the two trails. Boards have been added there to alleviate washout but it was a little treacherous because of the slick mud. However, overall the trail was in good shape. The trees were fully bloomed and the trail was full of honeysuckle smells. There were no trees or large limbs on the trail but the storm had littered the trail some with small limbs. It was a great outing with friends and the views were beautiful. It is noted that the trail sign estimated hiking times seem a little long stating they were about two hours for each loop. The combined trail was under 2 hours on a normal walking pace. The rest of the park (from the drive in) appears very well maintained.

Trail Among the Trees and Rock Quarry Trail
Two tricky spots because of the recent rain. 1/4 mile stretch in the middle that I had to go off path because of standing water.

Dogwood Trail
Was muddy a day after big rains. But still enjoyable. Couple of ticks came home with us though.

Round House Loop Trail
Watch your map closely. One section deadends (if you look at my route you can see) and so I had to make my way back to the Round House Loop path. Overall, not much to see as far as geology goes. I did hike most of the Dogwood Trail and that's pretty cool, but the roundhouse loop is really just a walk in the woods. There's some great elevation aspects to it, so it is a good workout.

Hawthorn Trail
The trail had markings making it easy to stay on the path, pretty easy hike if you want something quick.

Babler Equestrian Trail
This was our first time here after living here for years! This park is massive! There are lots of shelters so suggest if you are up for it bringing some charcoal and firewood in and staying awhile. We only saw one horse on the equestrian trail. The owner was really nice and it made the hike. We also saw some turkeys as well. Looking forward to doing some of the blue trail which is hiker only.
