Hot Springs Reviews
Rating 3.89 out of 5 199 reviews
There are so many things to do in Hot Springs to looking at Art, hiking the trails, or living the lake life. I enjoy kayaking and working part time at a local plant nursery. There is always something to do.
In 45 years I've come to this conclusion- Hot Springs is not a good place to live but I can see how it's a nice place to visit. This city is full of government officials who will absolutely not do their job unless it benefits tourists. Crime is crazy and the police won't lift a finger unless they deem you safe to confront. Stay on the main drags and out of the poorer areas because there's virtually no enforcement- cops will pull up on fights and parties in the street at 3 am and tell them to have fun. Traffic is bad, the overall infrastructure is way behind considering the cash flow that comes in here. Residents are treated like second class citizens unless they funnel cash in the right direction.
All that being said, there's a number of activities in the area but you could probably knock them all out in a day or three. The main attraction is literally just water that isn't cold, that's a big deal to some people. There's some good places to eat and some nice scenery. Stay safe.

Hot Springs does not offer a lot of opportunities for upcoming young adults trying to start in the workforce. It is mainly for older adults who are already used to the workforce.
