Safe Exam Browser 3.2 for Windows released

SEB 3.2 for Windows is a feature update which introduces live proctoring with Jitsi Meet, enables WebRTC for the integrated browser engine and fixes issues reported by the community.

  • Added live proctoring support with Jitsi Meet and live proctoring extensions for SEB Server integration. This feature is still experimental.
  • Enabled WebRTC for integrated browser engine. This allows accessing camera/microphone and is needed for web-based remote proctoring or video conferencing solutions.
  • Fixed issue with input language switch of Windows being rendered in kiosk mode Create New Desktop.
  • Added remark about runtime dependencies to setup confirmation page and extended error message of setup bundle.
  • Added basic display monitoring verifying count and type (internal/external) of connected displays. By default, one display is allowed and external displays need to be disconnected. These settings can be changed in the SEB Configuration Tool / Security tab.
  • Ensured preset prohibited applications are always automatically added to the active configuration.
  • Added kiosk mode monitoring for Create New Desktop.
  • Updated browser engine to version 90.6.5 (Chromium version 90.0.4430.93).

I have a question, if my student has a version prior to 3.2, I can't see how many monitors he has?
    I need answers
