Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool (KVRT) 是防毒軟體大廠卡巴斯基所推出的一款免費且免安裝的電腦掃毒工具，採用由 Kaspersky Anti-Virus 和 AVZ 共同研發的高效能病毒偵測演算法。
除了預設的掃描項目外，它還可針對特定資料夾進行掃描。KVRT 可偵測到各種新舊病毒、惡意程式、廣告程式等，就連最新型的病毒也很難躲過它的掃描，而且可讓使用者將程式發現的病毒、惡意程式等予以刪除或隔離 (Quarantine)。不過，這款免費軟體無法即時監控系統且不提供病毒碼的更新。
KVRT 簡單易用，程式啟動後只要點擊 Start scan (開始掃描) 按鈕，即可開始進行掃描。不過，程式預設僅掃描 System memory (系統記憶體)、Startup objects (開機啟動項目) 和 Boot sectors (開機磁區)，但您可點擊 Change parameters (變更參數) 叫出設定視窗來勾選 System drive (系統磁碟) 或點擊 Add objects… 來加入要掃描的特定資料夾。
必須注意的是，程式解除電腦的病毒感染後可能需要重新開機，因此在掃描之前請先將所有已開啟的文件存檔。

The program is a utility designed to remove all types of infections from your computer. It employs the effective detection algorithms used by Kaspersky Anti-Virus and AVZ. It cannot substitute a resident antivirus application.
The application is another virus scanner and detection software from Kaspersky. The product will scan the specified locations for any virus threats and remove them or send to Quarantine folder.
In most cases, when the virus is already on the target PC, there is nothing much one can do because the malware typically does not allow users to install or update any antivirus software.
Kaspersky’s tool on the other hand has taken some protective measures: it can be installed on infected computers, even in Safe Mode, and it can automatically remove viruses, Trojans, rootkits, adware or spyware.
If the results of the automatic scan are not satisfactory, one can also try the Manual Disinfection which performs an in-depth analysis of the computer, then generates a detailed report that can be sent to Kaspersky for further processing.
