What is The Witch and the Beast about?
The Witch and the Beast centers on Guideau, who has been cursed by a witch, and Ashaf. They are members of The Order of Magical Resonance, which investigates supernatural crimes.
They deal with many witch-related cases in the hope of finding the one who cursed Guideau. Fortunately, the girl has a way of briefly curing herself, kissing a witch. With that, she can use her real body, a powerful and mysterious creature that has been alive for centuries.
Has The Witch and the Beast been renewed for season 2?
At the time of writing, The Witch and the Beast has not been renewed for season 2.
Generally, Crunchyroll gauges numerous metrics before renewing a show, including how many people initially watch it and then looking at the drop-off rate.
Some series undergo fast cancellations or renewals. Other times, it can take months before a decision over a show’s future is made.
So far, The Witch and the Beast has scored 7.3 out of 10 on MyAnimeList, the main website for anime enjoyers. It’s a good score, which might get some people’s hopes up. However, one of the most important aspects is the manga’s sales. Unfortunately, we don’t have much access to that as of now.
Given the show’s fairly niche nature, we’re predicting it will not be renewed for a second season. The series does have plenty of potential, and we might see a sequel even if it takes a while, but the lack of commotion over it isn’t a good indication.

The Witch and the Beast ends as we learn about The Fall, a microcosm of different supernatural worlds. Season 2 will start adapting the Vampire Arc, which centers around the fourth level of the place. Guideau and Ashaf go there following a clue about Angela’s whereabouts.
If you wish to continue the story as soon as possible, you might want to check out the manga. Then, you’ll want to start from Chapter 29, volume 6.
