Lou was born in Worcester on July 7th, 1939, the daughter of Eugene Sr and Mary (Londergan) Field, sister of Eugene Jr and Patricia. Louise married Eugene Ritchotte in 1957 with whom she raised five beloved children. She married H. Roger King in 1981 and enjoyed 28 wonderful years with him, living their retired years split between Athol, MA and Haines City, FL.

A devoted full-time mother, she volunteered in her children’s schools and activities and her home was an open door to the many neighborhood kids. When her children were older, she worked several jobs including Ziff/Paperworld,  Disney Parks, and the Goddard Home (where she lived her final years). Quite the social butterfly, she was a friend to many over the years and an active participant in both the Riverbend Woods and West View Ridge retirement communities.
