Wilbur Cross High School is the largest Comprehensive High School in New Haven Public Schools, offering a wide range of programs and opportunities. Our over 1,700 culturally, linguistically, and socioeconomically diverse students join one of four small learning communities, known as Academies, exploring unique electives aligned to career themes.

The Wilbur Cross learning community includes students from over 22 countries speaking more than 13 languages, including Spanish, Arabic, Pashto, Swahili, and more.

The diversity of Wilbur Cross extends to faculty and staff. The Wilbur Cross team has over 120 certified staff including teachers, social workers, school counselors, and psychologists and many additional support staff, including para educators, security, student intervention support staff, administrative assistants, custodial and cafeteria staff.
