Glen Murakami is an American productor, animator and comic book artist. Originally he wanted to be a comic book artist but he applied for a job on the 1992 Batman: The Animated Series over a friend's advice. He worked as character designer with Bruce Timm. He started a short span career as a comic book artist working in titles as Batman Adventures. He won the Eisner Award for Best Single Issue with Batman Adventures Holiday. In 2001 he returned to the TV, this time working as producer for the Batman Beyond TV show. For his work in Batman Beyond, he received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Special Class Animated Program; as well as a Annie Award for Outstanding Achievement in a Daytime Animated Television Production. He have also worked on the Teen Titans TV show and Ben 10.
Murakami is currently working as executive producer for Beware the Batman.

Murakami is of Japanese descent. He wanted to be a comic book artist but he started to work on TV and continued to do so in his career.
