깃털 (or Feather) – a track on Korean indie band Guckkasten’s second full length album, “Frame” – wasn’t a song that immediately appealed to me when I was listening to the album at first.
It was only recently when I came across a video of Ha Hyunwoo (the band’s frontman and vocalist) playing the song acoustically, that I got attracted to the song.
It tells how much attention the band puts into the arrangement of their songs. Although the chords for this song are simple, the song arrangement is intricate. Love it.
Definitely check out how Ha Hyunwoo plays the song, and it’s possible to play it like he does.

I have not found any English translation of the lyrics for this song yet, so I did the translation myself. It shouldn’t be too off.

Where there is no path left
Filled with fog here
Abandoned in the wind
Fallen into this place without sufferings
Why couldn’t the broken youThe days that had long gone
The beautiful one left alone
Melted into a puddle in my eyes, like this
