Introduction

As of May 2024, Ja Rule’s net worth is estimated to be $4 Million.

Ja Rule, born Jeffrey Edward Atkins, is an American rapper, songwriter, record producer, record executive, and actor from Queens, New York.

Early Life

Ja Rule was born on the 29th of February 1976, in Queens, New York.

He was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness by his mother Debra and his father William.

Debra was a healthcare worker, and William was a baker.

Atkins attended Public School 134 in Hollis, a school he has described as having a predominantly black student body.

He got into many fights at the school because of his small size, so his mother transferred him to Middle School 172 in Glen Oaks, which he described as a “white school”.

Career

Before Ja Rule became as big as Gucci Mane he started as a member of the hip-hop group Cash Money Click in 1994.

Together, the group worked with DJ Irv to create numerous songs, including the group’s debut single, “Get Tha Fortune.”

Sooner after, Cash Money Click was signed to TVT Records, but plans for their debut album were halted when Chris Black was sentenced to five years in prison.

Chris Black’s arrest also led to the group being dropped by TVT Records, causing Ja Rule to start his solo career.

Becoming A Solo Artist

Although Cash Money Click had been dropped, Ja Rule kept a close relationship with DJ Irv, who was able to get him a contract with Def Jam.

In 1995, Ja Rule made his first appearance as a solo artist on the song “Time To Build” with Jay-Z and DMX, who were also just starting out.

When DJ Irv, now known as Irv Gotti, was granted his own sub-label from Def Jam, Murder Inc. Records, he promoted Ja Rule as his flagship artist.

During this time, he appeared on Jay-Z’s 1998 hit, “Can I Get A…,” a song that was supposed to be his until Jay-Z requested it.

In 1999, he released his debut solo single, “Holla Holla,” which quickly became a hit and peaked at No. 35 on the Billboard Hot 100.

This was followed shortly after by his debut solo album, Venni Vetti Vicci, which reached platinum status in the US.

Hitting The Big Time

Ja Rule’s second single, “Between Me and You,” was released in 2000 as the first single from his second studio album.

His second album, Rule 3:36, dropped in October 2000, and it featured a change from hardcore hip-hop to a more pop-rap style.

This album proved to be so popular that it was certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Not one to waste time, Ja Rule quickly released his third studio album in 2001, which topped the Billboard 200.

The following year, Ja Rule released his fourth studio album, The Last Temptation, with the single “Thug Lovin,” with Bobby Brown as a guest artist.

Although Murder Inc. Records was raided by FBI agents in 2003, Ja Rule was still able to release his fifth studio album, Blood in My Eye

Along with being a diss album targeting rappers like 50 Cent and Eminem, it also marked a return to his hardcore hip-hop style.

His sixth studio album, R.U.L.E., was released in 2004, and its lead single “Wonderful” peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Hiatus And Return

After working as hard as G Herbo with six consecutive albums, Ja Rule went on hiatus in 2005 following his greatest hits album Exodus

While he founded his own record label, Mpire Music Group, in 2007, he wouldn’t personally work on a new album of his own until 2011.

This album, after being pushed back for tweaking numerous times, was eventually released as Love Is Pain 2 in 2012.

Unfortunately, when the album was released, Ja Rule was in the middle of a two-year prison sentence and wouldn’t be released until May 2013.

Once he was a free man, Ja Rule released a memoir titled Unruly: The Highs and Lows of Becoming a Man in 2014.

The same year, he announced his eighth studio album, Coup De Grâce, which would end up getting a 2016 release.

In 2015, he announced that he and Irv Gotti had partnered with Paramount Pictures to create a TV series based on Murder Inc.

Acting And Other Ventures

Along with being a successful rapper, Ja Rule has also appeared in a handful of films, including Turn It Up and The Fast and the Furious

He also launched a clothing line with Irv Gotti in 2004, followed by a liquor company, The Mojito, in 2006.

In 2016, he co-founded Fyre Media, a talent booking agency, which ended up at the center of the Fyre Festival scam.

If that wasn’t enough, he has also dabbled in the most expensive NFTs ever created and launched a premium wine label in 2023.

Most recently, he is poised to celebrate his 25-year career in hip-hop with his international Sunrise Tour, which kicks off in 2024.

Although he’s been in the industry for over two decades, it’s highly unlikely we’ll see him retire anytime soon!

Ja Rule has collaborated with stars such as Ludacris, and Vin Diesel in the series.

Introduction

As of May 2024, Kirk Cousins’ net worth is estimated to be roughly $120 Million.

Kirk Cousins is an American football quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings of the NFL.

Cousins played college football at Michigan State from 2009 to 2011 and was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft.

Early Life

Kirk Daniel Cousins was born on the 19th of August, 1988, in Illinois.

Cousins is the son of Don Cousins, a senior pastor at Discovery Church in Orlando, Florida, and Maryann Cousins.

Cousins attended Holland Christian High School in Holland, Michigan, where he starred in football, baseball (as a third baseman and a pitcher), and basketball for the Maroons athletic teams.

Career

After becoming a high school football star, Kirk Cousins was redshirted for the 2007 season at Michigan State, where he played for the Spartans.

In 2009, he won the starting quarterback position and led the Spartans to a 6-7 season with 19 touchdowns and 2,680 passing yards.

The following year, he played in the first-ever Big Ten Football Championship Game and led the Conference in pass completions, attempts, and passing yards.

Cousins ended up winning the 2011 Lowes’s Senior CLASS Award and, after majoring in kinesiology, he graduated and declared for the NFL Draft.

Like many of the richest NFL players, he quickly had some of the most prominent teams in the NFL vying to get him for themselves.

The Washington Redskins

Kirk Cousins was selected by the Washington Redskins as the seventh choice in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft.

Cousins was seen as an insurance policy, in case the Redskins’ quarterback Robbert Griffin III was injured or put out of commission.

In May, he signed a four-year contract with the team, and in the second preseason game, he threw three touchdowns in the fourth quarter.

Due to his skills, he was named the backup quarterback over Rex Grossman, the incumbent starter at the time.

The same year, he became the third Redskins rookie to be voted the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week, behind Griffin and Alfred Morris.

He finished with a 10-6 record and went on to the 2013 season as the starting quarterback after Giffin was deactivated for the season.

The following season, Cousins and Trent Williams helped the Redskins improve their record, with the team finishing 4-12, up from 3-13.

Becoming A Starter

In August 2015, Kirk Cousins was named the starter for the upcoming season over Griffin, and he quickly stepped up to the plate.

By October, he helped the Redskins have their biggest comeback win in franchise history, beating the Buccaneers with a touchdown pass to Jordan Reed with seconds left.

At the end of the season, Cousins was named the PFWA Most Improved Player, having set the Redskins single-season passing yards record with 4,166.

2016 saw the Redskins place a non-exclusive franchise tag on Cousins, which acted as a one-year $20 million contract.

While he missed the playoffs, he led the team to a winning record of 8-7-1 and finished third behind Drew Brees and Matt Ryan in passing yards.

Because of his performance, he was named to his first Pro Bowl, replacing Matt Ryan who was appearing in Super Bowl LI.

Cousins then spent one more season with the Redskins, becoming the first quarterback in history to be franchise-tagged for two consecutive years.

The Minnesota Vikings

Kirk Cousins signed with the Minnesota Vikings in March 2018 for $84 million, the highest-paying contract in NFL history.

He debuted in the season opener and finished his first season strong with 4,298 passing yards, 30 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions.

The 2019 season saw him named to his second Pro Bowl before signing a $66 million contract extension with the Vikings.

Cousins kept up the momentum for the 2020 season, and made his third Pro Bowl the following year, even after refusing a COVID vaccine.

In March 2022, he signed a one-year extension for $35 million guaranteed, and he helped the Vikings have the biggest comeback in NFL history.

The Vikings released Adam Thielen in March 2023 and while things started well, in October Cousins suffered an Achilles injury.

This effectively ended his season early, and he has remained on the injured reserve list with Josh Dobbs taking over as quarterback.

We have to turn it into wins as much as possible so I can stay here as long as possible. I joke with everybody that ‘guys we’ve got to win because I like it here and I’d like to stay.’” – Kirk Cousins

“A great example of a guy like me. At times people tell me just go have fun, and I’m thinking, ‘I have the weight of the world on my shoulders and I have to deliver.’ If anything I take it too seriously and I have to remind myself that seriousness is not a virtue.” – Kirk Cousins

Early Life

Quintorris Lopez Jones was born on the 8th of February, 1989 in Foley, Alabama.

He holds the record for the most receiving yards by any player since entering the league, an impressive achievement given the competition.

Between 2014 and 2019, he was invited to seven Pro Bowls and accumulated an impressive 12,125 receiving yards during the 2010s.

Julio received first-team All-Pro honors twice and second-team All-Pro three times and was noted for a rare combination of size and speed.

At 6 ft 3 in and weighing 220 lbs, he achieved 4.39 seconds in the 40-yard dash and possesses awesome catching ability and strength.

Being Compared With The Best

He is frequently compared to Calvin Johnson and became the fastest player in NFL history to reach 10,000 career receiving yards on November 11, 2018.

Jones became the all-time career receiving yards leader for the Atlanta Falcons in September 2019, and all-time career receptions leader in October 2020.

He secured a career average of 87.9 receiving yards per game, which is the second-highest average in the National Football League’s history.

Jones is tied for third place as the all-time record holder in career games with 100+ yards receiving – 59 games as of 2022.

He was traded to the Tennessee Titans in 2021 after he had a reported disagreement with the Atlanta Falcons’ front office.

After negotiations between Julio and management, he was released by the Titans in 2022 and subsequently signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Signing A One-Year Contract

Jones’ one-year contract with the Buccaneers started on July 27, 2022, making his debut in Week 1 against the Cowboys in a 19–3 victory.

Unfortunately, he was seriously injured and sidelined with a partially torn posterior cruciate ligament after Week 1, missing significant playing time.

However, he scored his first touchdown with the Buccaneers in Week 8 against the Ravens on a Tom Brady, eight-yard reception.

He then had a productive game against the Seahawks in Munich, recording three receptions for 53 yards and a touchdown in a 21–16 victory.

Jones’ impressive 31-yard touchdown in Week 10 became the first-ever touchdown scored in a National Football League game in Germany.

After playing in 10 total games in the 2022 regular season, Jones recorded 24 receptions for 299 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns.

Knocked Out Of The Wild Card Round

The Buccaneers were knocked out of the Wild Card Round by the Cowboys in January 2023, with Jones contributing seven receptions for 74 receiving yards.

Despite his best efforts and that of the team, after one receiving touchdown, Jones and the Buccaneers went down in a 31–14 loss.

He was unfortunately not re-signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after the 2022 season and became an unrestricted free agent.

Jones was signed by the Eagles practice squad and appeared in the Dolphins game on October 21, recording one reception for 3 yards.

He recorded his first receiving touchdown as an Eagle eight days later in an away game against the Washington Commanders.

Jones was signed to the active roster on November 1, 2023, and in Week 17 against the Cardinals, recorded two receiving touchdowns.

Favorite Quotes from Julio Jones

“No. Hell no. I mean like for me to be at my best, I have a routine. So I need to go to sleep—I need to eat and I need to go to bed. Me watching them, it’s not gonna help me with the upcoming game. As you said, unless I’m playing them, I’m going to see what they got going on.” – Julio Jones

“I didn’t watch that game, I didn’t watch. Man, listen. I don’t watch football like outside of football, really. I will say, I watch it like with the guys if the guys say, “Hey, let’s go watch a game, let’s go do something,” things like that.” – Julio Jones

“Yeah, and then they had those games at 8:30 and stuff like that, but it’s like right before our game. So I’m already in bed though, so it’s not like I had to finish that game.” – Julio Jones
