- Dumgoyne777Glasgow, UK23 contributionsEnjoyable walk through villages and towns link to Thomas Muir, ‘Father of Scottish Democracy’. Bus service meant we could leave car and collect later. We split it over a couple of weekends. It’s 18km in total. Nice coffee shops along the way.Written September 16, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- macedonboyGlasgow, UK185,091 contributionsThis is a war memorial dedicated to the men of Bishopbriggs who died fighting in the two world wars. It’s a standard Celtic style cross and has raised bosses on the arm and stem of the cross. The front has a dedication. The back of the memorial has a beautiful dedication taken from the poem “For the Fallen” by Laurence Binyon. The memorial is located opposite the railway station and is worth a look if in Bishopbriggs.Written July 15, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
