But I am sure it will have another name next year. Good venue for a show, we enjoyed John Fogerty from row U in the middle. Floor is flat but stage is high enough you can see the artists from that far. Not sure how good UU would be, though.
Tickets on phone app only was mildly concerning for us older folk but we got them to work.

No closeup of the performer was shown on the two screens located on each side of the stage. Why bother seeing him when we could not see him?

First of all, we drove up from just off-cape. Arrived easily and found parking to be plentiful and close to the venue. Entering the gates was a quick, polite process. I have a pacemaker/defibrillator that prevents me from going through metal detectors, so I was patted down by a staff member who acted professionally. Once inside, we found "the room" to be quite comfortable and laid out in a manner that made finding our seats easy. The seats were roomy (both in size and legroom) and had a cup holder in the seat in front of you. The sight lines were uninterrupted.
The sound was muddy during the first song, but quickly cleared up and was excellent.
There were abundant concession stands, but could have used more restrooms. The restrooms (at least the men's room) was extremely clean.
The only things that prevented me from giving this venue 5 stars was the high prices for drinks ($15 for a beer and $6 for a soda) and the fact that the seats are bolted down which would make it impossible to dance at a show at which people might want to boogie.
All in all, a nice place in a beautiful spot for a summer concert.
BTW TAPFS melted our faces!

First time attending a show here. Great location on the water for sites and breeze. Plenty of parking around the pavilion. Great place to walk around prior to the show. Plenty of food selections and restaurants also around the area. Didn’t eat inside but just looked ok. Food and drink inside was extremely expensive. Have a beverage on the water before going in. Every seat is good as venue is small. Most under tent and tables with chairs in the back which are not under cover. Would attend show here again. Easy out with traffic to get back on highway

We love to come to the pavilion for shows in the summer. Every seat is a good seat. The crowds are small. The bathrooms are plenty. There is never a line. There are no crazy parking lots to exit at the end of the show either. You can take public transportation, Uber or park at a meter. The location is wonderful. It’s right on the water. There are a million bars and restaurants to choose from around the venue for before and after the show. The artists are great too! The perfect night out in Boston!

The idea of an open-air venue, listening to beautiful music accompanied by an ocean breeze, is very appealing. In theory. Or, say, in a place like San Diego. But, given the number of hot or rainy days in Boston, buying a ticket is quite a gamble. Seating is so-so, as there isn't enough of an incline. We were about 5 rows away from the stage, but off to the side, so visibility wasn't great at all. Ushers were nice; restrooms were well organized, and concessions were easy, if quite pricey. Parking was a nightmare - every lot in the area was full an hour before the concert, and we ended up paying $50 for a somewhat sketchy restaurant-only lot. Transportation to the area is non-existent, so there is not much in terms of alternative.

I've been here before but it had been a few years. Saw Peter Frampton a week or so ago and had such a great time. Not only was Peter great but the venue and the staff that work there make it a better experience also. I get ansy at times just staying in my seat and like to wander around. I watched the show from a few locations and never got told "you can't stand there" like you get in some other places. And to top it off the views of the harbor and Boston are pretty cool to. Definitely come here to see a show!

have been to the bank pavilion many times under many different names, always a good time rain or shine under the hat shell! Very relaxed atmosphere, sound is good to great, and i enjoy sitting outside on nights with no rain. After the show many places on the water front for a variety of good eaty , and of course a few leisurely libations! So come kick and jam out , it's always a good time at the Blue Hills Pavillion!

We were here for Mix Fest 2018 and it was amazing! This was my second time at this venue and it was just a fun as the first. Not a bad seat in the house and the staff is so friendly! I love that it is right on the water and you can smell the crisp ocean air as you are listening to your favorite artist sing! Location is great, only down fall is the line waiting to get in!

Visited earlier this evening for a concert. Great location, which was easy to walk to from the Financial District. Really well
Organised and so clearing security took under 2 minutes. We booked table tickets, and would recommend these if you get the chance as there is far more room and you get a great view of the stage and screens. The whole set up- toilets, refreshments, seating and merchandise was really impressive and it is a great outdoor venue, with views over the bay. Would recommend seeing a show here.

There is a bus stop nearby, but you do have to walk a few minutes - it does not stop directly in front.

The tent covers all sections of the pavilion, but I don't think it covers the concourse section with tables... If I remember correctly.
