Every morning, I would walk through the doors of the school, greeted by the enthusiastic cheers of my friends. We were like a big, supportive family, always ready to have each other's backs. The energy was contagious, and it made even the most challenging days feel manageable. But it wasn't just about academics and extracurriculars. Saginaw High School had a strong sense of community. We organized charity events, fundraisers, and volunteered together. It felt amazing to make a positive impact on the world around us. Looking back, Saginaw High School was more than just a place of education. It was a place where friendships were forged, dreams were nurtured, and memories were made. It shaped me into the person I am today, and I'll always cherish those moments.
I really liked Saginaw High when I was new there they made me feel welcome, they where caring and I won't change nothing about that high school.
My experiences at Saginaw High School has really been so amazing. I have met so many new groups of diverse people, not only kids but teachers as well. I came in this school 9th grade year nervous but they made me feel like I was at home. I always feel safe at school and the food is really good. The teachers are very understanding and helpful, and I will say that my knowledge has expanded in a positive way. I feel that they have prepared me to face any challenges that I might come in contact with in my future, not just school wise but in the real world.
The community there is nice. The education there isn't one of the best, but they try to help their students succeed.
My experience at Saginaw high was a little rough. I came in not willing to pay attention & I was also not giving any of the teachers a chance to help me. All the teachers at Saginaw high was extremely nice to me minus my bad behavior. I loved the school & all my teachers. One thing I would love to see change is better hall monitors. Kids were always wandering the halls and only got caught 2-3 times and didn’t really have any consequences. I would also like for them to give detention instead of just automatically suspending someone.
A great family-oriented school. My mother, aunt, uncle and many other family members have graduated from here. But I felt like I was not really prepared for college from here alone. Great sports!
I have been attending Saginaw High School for two years and there are many things I have took a liking to. The teachers try their absolute hardest to make sure we are ready for college. There are during school activities to keep the kids together and involved. Saginaw High allows us to have college visits and college advisers speak to us about how to plan for college. Lastly I have learned a lot at this school and I am proud to be a Trojan.
Its a great school to go to considering where this school is located. The teachers will really help you with you work and propose some extra credit. there are several activities such as Nation Honors Society, teen advisory council, and many more for you to join. the sport is excellent we are bond to go to the championship this year for sure. the band program is awesome i just got a scholarship to a college that i wanted to go to!!
I Liked how the People at Saginaw high makes you feel welcomed it's like a second home for me the environment as well as the teachers are just amazing
My experience at Saginaw High School was great, a high school experience truly worth living. A school where everyone is family or acquainted in some way, shape, or form. SHS makes learning fun and interesting, its more than just a school.
I have been at Saginaw High School for 4 years now and it has gotten me so far in my academic success. I was able to get on top 10 within less than a year, they were so friendly on the cheerleading them and the staff really supported me through my years of high school. I would want to see other good students to be seen and for them to be able to participate in educational field trips because they deserve it.
Saginaw High School is the homeland of the "Trojans". Its meant to be great and prepare you for the college experience after graduating. Instead it doesn't prepare for college as its supposed to. Instead it prepared me for the adult life and how to be on your own. The things I would change is the academic and education opportunities for the students that attend there.
Overall, I have had an okay experience at SHS. When I first came to SHS I thought everyone would be rambunctious. However, the immense amount of school pride and the familial aspect of the school makes me proud to say that I am a Trojan.
Saginaw High has a great support system overall. From teachers, to staff, to peers, it's a loving and helping environment.
I have attended Saginaw High School since my freshman year; I am currently a senior. During the almost four years that I've been here, I have partaken in a multitude of activities that are unique to me only because I wouldn't have been able to do them had I not chosen to attend the High. I have also grown close to faculty members that have helped me along the way.
I am a member of the Mighty Marchin' Trojan Band, I am the Varsity volleyball team captain, the Varsity softball team captain, secretary of the Teen Advisory Council, and more. I chose to become involved within my school, and that is a decision I will most definitely not regret. I have gotten special opportunities and am well known though out the community for my efforts.

Peer pressure is not really a big problem. Students respect other students decisions. The students are very involved and engaged with each other. A lot of group work is done and participation together. Students of other culture or sexual appearance is also accepted at the school, they are not judgmental.
There are many activities to get engaged into. There is after school tutoring where teachers stay after school to provide extra help to those students who need it. There is sports of course, cheerleading, Teen Advisory Counseling, Band, etc. Many of the students there participate in sports and after school programs.
