Mondrian South Beach faces Biscayne Bay as opposed to the Atlantic Ocean. And as such, it largely misses out on some of the hectic atmosphere associated with the South Beach shore. But this is a plus to this hotel's faithful guests and a pleasant surprise for recent first-timers. From the eye-catching design (by industrial designer Marcel Wanders) to the relaxing pool, many recent guests were impressed with Mondrian South flat-screen TVs, rainfall showers and premium bath products. Meanwhile, Baia Beach Club serves American fare with a Florida twist for breakfast, lunch and dinner. But one of the top attributes of this hotel is the incredible staff who go out of their way to make guests' stays enjoyable and comfortable.
