Graeme Blundell The Australian Intense, compressed storytelling, crackling with twists and turns... Feb 7, 2022 Full Review Craig Mathieson The Age (Australia) Character depth is created by harried reactions, the mood is uniformly ominous. It's not subtle, but it can be effective. Rated: 3/5 Jan 6, 2022 Full Review Lucy Mangan Guardian See you for the next episode, plus the six after that - and there's no point pretending otherwise. Rated: 3/5 Jan 2, 2022 Full Review Steve Murray ArtsATL The series is superficial trash, yes, but lovingly polished trash. I couldn't stop watching. Jan 31, 2022 Full Review Dustin Rowles Pajiba I’ll also say that I didn’t see the twist coming, which I suppose makes Stay Close a successful Coben series. Jan 19, 2022 Full Review Monique Jones Common Sense Media This series is good news for for Anglophiles who want to see something a bit different from the usual British crime drama. Jackie N So good and we couldn't stop watching! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/15/24 Full Review Ann S Started off well and slowly went silly, unbelievable, obvious and just plain stupid in the last two episodes..... Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/24 Full Review Val E Good mystery. Keeps you watching. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/09/24 Full Review Noah M Omg this show has a decent premise but is stuck with ridiculous tropes and characters you don't like. It's so stupid, it requires the viewer to have some bizarre sense of disbelief. So many plot holes, so so many annoying characters. Much like the way the film is shot all over England this show is a scattershot attempt at creating a thriller when it's honestly just boring and painful to watch. It could be so much better. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/13/23 Full Review Jordan M Put this series on owing to the excellent critic reviews but I don't even feel like we watched the same series... Clichéd characters, some of the worst, and undoubtedly the most unrealistic dialogue I've ever seen in a British series. Every line is horrifically overacted and it's only made worse by the poorly placed and cliché sound effects, and absurd camera work and editing. It feels like an AI tried to write a drama/crime series. I couldn't make it past the first episode. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/20/23 Full Review Victor D Omg, can't believe this shxxx exist! People produced this! And i wasted 8x53 minutes of my life hoping for a plot twist 😂 Darn should i have known ... Only kinda cool thing : the Psycho couple, but oopsies that idea isnot even original and was stolen from an other movie xD I just hope there is only one season Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
