Where can I get Vietnamese dubbed/subtitled tv shows?
My dad likes to watch shows that have Vietnamese subtitles or Vietnamese voiceover. These are usually Korean or Chinese shows, etc.
Where can I get a hold of these shows? For free and/or for purchase.

There are lots of Korean and Chinese TV shows here with Vietnamese subtitles for streaming, usually free to watch with some ads when watching.

I've been using YouTube. The selection is limited so you'll have to search for it but you avoid all the pop up from those other sites. YouTube do remove videos once in a while so older uploads might not be there.

Netflix also have some shows with Vietnamese subtitle. I haven't tried because I can't read that fast. I don't know how to search for them though. TVB USA also have a Vietnamese app.
What country are you in? I just searched Netflix in the US for "Vietnamese" and it offers "Audio in Vietnamese" and "Subtitles in Vietnamese" as categories, but the shows/films in these categories ... don't actually have Vietnamese audio/subtitles.
I'm in the US. I remember coming across it one day. I think the series Chocolate, The King, Itaewon Class, Life, and probably a few more has it. I wish Netflix has a better way to search.
Just checked and none of those do. Meanwhile I found something called "Conjuring Spirit" that has Vietnamese audio and subtitles.
It's absurd, they aren't even capable of correctly searching their own database. It's like they want us to go pirate stuff.
Yeah it's lame. The result also returns false positive which is really annoying.
Are you in the US? If not, I don't know if this will work. It's really lame. Try looking up "Mystic, pop-up bar". Can you see the Vietnamese subtitle? If yes, once you set the subtitle to Viet, then when you look up other shows that have Viet subtitles, the option will be there. I did it with the show "Chocolate" and it worked.
If you have a VPN and set your address to Vietnam you can get lots of these on Netflix. I'm not sure how accessible/practical this is, I just know Netflix in Vietnam has both VNese movies and all the non-VNese movies had Vsub option.
There are also quite a few older Chinese movies with Vdubs on Youtube (for example I just searched" "phim trung quoc tieng viet" and got a lot of hits. If you search in Vietnamese you'll have better luck finding things.

Depending on the show, some have 1 female voice over and others have both male and female dub. Usually the older shows like Legend of the Blue Sea have both and the newer shows like Crash Landing on You have 1, but having both dubbed is still rare.
Some show titles you will need to translate to english before searching, otherwise they wont show up in searches. For instance to find Descendants Of The Sun, you will need to type "hau due mat troi" in the search.
