It is with profound sadness that the Findlay family announce the passing of their beloved sister Valerie. Valerie bravely battled long-term lung disease since childhood. She is survived by her siblings Dianna, Bill, Garfield, Jane, Gordon, Frank, Viola, Bruce and Brian and their respective families. She is remembered for her love and care for people, sense of humour, love and care of animals, especially Icey. She was a friend to all and showed love and compassion to all. She faced life with courage and grace, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she touched. Rest in peace, dear Valerie.
A celebration of life will be held for Valerie in July.
Donations can be made to the Toronto Humane Society in her memory.
