It's shaping up to be a year of royal weddings. Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg tied the knot with her French fiancé, Nicolas Bagoy, in a civil wedding at the Town Hall of the City of Luxembourg last weekend, and then their religious marriage ceremony took place this past weekend, on April 29, 2023, in the Saint Trophyme church in Bormes-les-Mimosas.
"Their Royal Highnesses the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess have the great joy of announcing the engagement of their daughter, Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra, to Monsieur Nicolas Bagory," the Ducal Court shared last year. "The two families join in the happiness of the engaged couple by surrounding them with their affection."

Religious Wedding (April 29, 2023)
After getting married in a civil ceremony last weekend, Princess Alexandra and Nicolas had a religious ceremony in Bormes-les-Mimosas, France.
Princess Alexandra arrived at the church with her father, Grand Duke Henri.
For the ceremony, Alexandra wore Grand Duchess Josephine Charlotte's diamond choker tiara.
The groom arrived with his mother.
Alexandra wore a bespoke Elie Saab wedding dress.
The newlyweds couldn't stop smiling as they left the church.
The princess, in particular, seemed overcome with emotion.

They shared a loving glance with Alexandra's mother, the Grand Duchess.
They drove off in a convertible.

Civil Wedding (April 22, 2023)
Alexandra and Nicolas beamed at they posted for photos outside the Town Hall.
The Princess looked chic in a Valentino wool cape, and Natan blouse and trousers.
She also carried a Chanel bag as she walked into the Town Hall.
Several members of the royal family were in attendance: her parents, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa and Grand Duke Henri, and her brother and sister-in-law Prince Guillaume and Princess Stéphanie. Guillaume and Stéphanie just welcomed their second child last month!
