Falling Into Place Lyrics

[Verse 1: Victor Ray]
Losing my sleep
Thinking 'bout last week
Knowing what might be
Now you're all that I see
Living in my dreams
Do you feel like me?
Are you falling?

[Pre-Chorus: Victor Ray]
If you're not, it's fine, I don't mind
Maybe you and I won't combine
Maybe I was not the one for you (Yeah)
If you are then you can decide
Choose to take a dive, change your life
Maybe we don't need to think this through

[Chorus: Victor Ray]
Maybe we'll fill this empty space
Or maybe we're more than hearts can take
We could be falling just to break
But I think we're falling into place

[Post-Chorus: Victor Ray & Choir]
Falling into place (Yeah, oh, nah)
Falling into place (I think we're falling into place)
Falling into place (Ooh, oh)
Falling into place (I think we're falling into place)
Falling into place
[Verse 2: Debbie]
Sitting here alone, hun, I miss you
Don't even know the things that I've been through
I forget the scars when I'm with you
All I see is stars when I'm with you
Flying all alone when I met you
Shot me out the sky like a missile
Looking in your eyes kinda simple
I don't need a sign to be with you, no

[Pre-Chorus: Debbie]
If you're low on faith, that's okay
I don't wanna beg you to stay
Maybe I'm just not the one for you, oh no
You're the name I say when I pray
You're the sweetest touch my escape
Maybe we don't need to think this through

[Chorus: Debbie & Victor Ray]
Maybe we'll fill this empty space
Or maybe we're more than hearts can take
We could be falling just to break
But I think we're falling into place

[Post-Chorus: Victor Ray, Debbie, Victor Ray, Debbie & Choir]
Falling into place
Maybe we'll fill this empty space (Fill this empty space)
Or maybe we're more than hearts can take (More than hearts can take)
We could be falling just to break (Falling just to break)
But I think we're falling into place (Falling into place)
[Outro: Victor Ray, Debbie, Victor Ray & Debbie]
Oh, we just (Yeah)
Oh, we're falling (You falling, we're falling)
Yeah, I think we falling into place (Yeah, yeah)
No, oh, ooh-woah, oh-oh (Oh, ooh-ooh)
Ah, yeah, yeah (Yeah, yeah)
I think we falling into place

What did Victor Ray say about "Falling Into Place"?
Genius Answer

Victor Ray:

“Falling Into Place” awas inspired by the rush of emotions that you get when you meet a stranger that you know could end up becoming a lot more than that to you. It’s a song about meeting and falling for someone new and realizing there’s a high likelihood that it could end badly, but you want to believe it’ll work out. Debbie completed the song and ultimately made the song mean so much more.

Debbie:

I fell in love with the backing vocal stacks when I first heard ‘Falling Into Place’ – it was a goosebump moment, so jumping on the track was a no brainer. I live for music that makes you feel something, this is exactly what the track does for me.
