About Indiana Pacers Tickets
Established in 1967, the Indiana Pacers have been mainstays near the top of the Eastern Conference in the NBA. Featuring some of the stronger teams in the league, the Pacers have had leaders during several chapters in their franchise history that have elevated them to the heights that they have reached. At the top of the list of great Pacers leaders is Reggie Miller. During the 1990s, Miller was one of the few sharpshooters in the NBA that could strike fear into the hearts of any team at any given time. In that period of NBA history, not many players were able to be a team's primary scorer while doing the bulk of their work from the outside. Miller was the exception to this rule, and made the Pacers a very fun team to watch for the era. The best example of that was Miller's eight point outburst within nine seconds in the playoffs against the New York Knicks. Miller hit two three point shots and two free throws in the final moments to vanquish the Knicks, while he went back and forth with legendary Knicks fan Spike Lee. This was one of many occasions where Miller was ahead of his time with his shooting ability. Rivals of the Indiana Pacers were teams like the Chicago Bulls and the New York Knicks, with the Knicks topping the list of rivals. Both teams managed to defeat each other in big games, with iconic moments like Miller's eight points in nine seconds highlighting the Pacers' successes over the Knicks and moments like Larry Johnson's four point play highlighting the tough games both teams were involved in.
