My experience at Niagara University was very good, I had a great year and was very involved with all the activities, the only change I would say that our LGBTQ club is run by some one that shouldn't be running and I and others felt uncomfortable attending.
It’s a great school! I enjoyed going there but it is quite small. Some of the professors are not so kind but administration is super helpful.

I really enjoy Niagara University. As someone who was very nervous about the transition to university life, I found Niagara's smaller, homey campus to be very welcoming and I was instantly put at ease.
Living on campus sucks. Bathrooms are dirty and the people are rude and obnoxious. Housing selection is also very poor. Services provided are few compared to other colleges and are below average
I studied at Niagara for four years, including during the Covid 19 pandemic. Niagara was a fantastic school for academia, professional development, as well as making life long friendships and connections. Since graduating Niagara I was immediately hired in my field of choice, and am now in a graduate program. Niagara not only helped me prepare for my lifelong career path, but actively guided me in pursing and achieving my goals. I would highly recommend Niagara University!
Overall, Niagara has been a great school to further my education. It’s taught me how to live on my own and manage my time wisely with assignment and free time.
Niagara University is full of staff and other students who want to see each other succeed. It is right next to the border between the U.S. and Canada, making it possible to travel safely whenever students choose. There is a wide range of majors, minors, and graduate programs to choose from, as well as many internship possibilities in the area surrounding the university. One thing that could be improved is technology and upgrading older equipment to provide students with the most current and up to date software.
Its so lonely here oh my god. At first it was nice but all of my friends had some weird drama or dropped out and as a JR it's pretty much impossible to make new friends. Everyone is in their own little bubble or their just a commuter and stay in their own world. As a psych major, my classes are DEAD no one talks to anyone. I live in one of the smaller dorms on the westside and everyone is WEIRD or doesnt talk to anyone I am just soo lonely over here I wouldn't wish this on anyone! Also parking sucks for all of westside (3/5 of all the dorm buildings on this campus) if I don't get one of the 15 library parking spots they make us park in the back of the hockey rink parking lot which is a 10 min walk from my dorm. And the heaters sometimes work :) and the food is just fine not a whole lot of options. Oh and ZERO parties we don't have frats at all and our sororities are fake theres no houses they just take pictures together LOL. Only place that throws is SKETCHY sport houses off campus
Overall, I've had so far an amazing time at Niagara University. The amount of opportunity that this school offers is fantastic. This school has helped me so much with bettering myself, internship opportunities, job opportunities, enhanced classes etc. I also currently play on the club hockey team at Niagara University and have made a lot of friends along the way. I am a commuter and this allowed me to maintain a great relationship with my family, friends, and an ability to maintain my job so that I'm able to provide for myself and my family. I'm currently a Food-Marketing Major and I feel as if the classes that I've been offered and taken has really made me more confident about applying for jobs and internships and being able to do what is asked of me. I really hope that I get this scholarship as it would really benefit me and my family overall.
I love how the teachers get to know each and everyone of their students. It’s very personable and welcoming. The sizes of the class really impact me in a positive way and I really benefit some the smaller classes.

The professors in the business department are good in my opinion, can't say the same for gen ed professors. The schools dorms and dining hall need work. The dorms are extremely outdated and rather dirty and small, and the dining hall needs to step up their food game. The little things the school plans throughout the week are fun if you have friends to go with, or to meet new people.
Amazing experience, miss it everyday and visit when I can! Proud purple eagle alum!

I've absolutely loved the community that I have found here at Niagara University. The program that I'm in is so incredibly welcoming and supportive. There are plenty of majors/minors and opportunities to explore and my advisor has made sure I can get the most out of my time here. It's a gorgeous campus and there are plenty of events put on and we're super close to Niagara Falls and Canada! The people are wonderful and I can't implore you enough, please consider Niagara University in your college search! You won't regret it!
My time at Niagara University has been truly transformative. The intimate class sizes and personal attention from professors create an environment where learning goes beyond textbooks. Niagara is committed to preparing students for future careers through job fairs, networking events, and internships that help explore career paths and connect with professionals. Niagara's reputation for academic excellence opens doors. Beyond academics, Niagara offers extracurricular activities and organizations that provide balance and allow for personal growth. What makes Niagara exceptional is the care and support from staff and faculty dedicated to your success, nurturing personal and academic growth. My Niagara experience has equipped me with skills and knowledge to navigate a brighter, more successful future through small classes, career development, strong academics, diverse activities, and genuine support. I'm grateful for the enriching experiences and education.
Niagara is a small college which makes the community very close and connected. Although there are a lot of clubs there are limited common spaces to meet people. They have the food areas, however no casual places with activities or anything to attract people to come out and get together. One of the most important aspects of going to college is meeting all kinds of people and create connections. This could be improved greatly at this University.
As I reflect upon my first year at Niagara University, I am overwhelmed by the positive experiences and invaluable lessons I've gained. My decision to pursue a graduate program here while working full time has proven to be one of the best choices I've made, and I'd like to share some highlights of my experience so far.
Balancing a full-time job with graduate studies can be challenging, but Niagara University has proven to be incredibly accommodating. The flexibility offered to part-time students like me is a game-changer. It's evident that the institution understands the demands we face outside the classroom and strives to make education accessible and manageable. This flexibility has allowed me to pursue my career goals without compromising on my education.

The professor are there to help you. The small class size allow the professor to provided more one on one help and advice. The campus is small which makes walking across really easy but it limits the amount you can do without a car.
Niagara University is a great experience and a beautiful campus. I play volleyball and it has been a very rewarding experience. The Camus is not really large so you can get to classes easy. The weather can be really cold in the winter but that is expected in NY. There are so many places to visit and it is great to be near the falls.
