6 weeks after TJO at DH event, got email from HR onboarding process owner asking for resume and transcripts, not eqip- kind of worried

Application Status

Hi,

As the title says, I was waiting for an eqip after TJO at DHE for IRS but instead got an email asking for resume and transcripts for “verification.” I am confused since they verified my information at the DH event. Has anyone experienced this before?

ChoiceIcy2056,

You appear to be asking about resumes. Here are two helpful resources for resumes and federal employment that may answer your question:

They probably need official transcripts which are usually either sealed by the institution or electronically mailed. I wouldn’t say it’s unusual.

I would completely understand that. I guess I am worried because they did not specifically ask me for the official transcript so I feel that they should've had all the information they needed unless they found something they did not like, or something of that nature. FWIW, I sent them the transcript myself.

I wouldn’t worry just yet. I’m also in the similar position. TJO (IRS DHE) about 6wks ago.

Request for Resume and Transcript 4/18. My HR person was fine with me emailing my transcripts. I have official copies I use.

I sent a status inquiry yesterday. Waiting for response.

did you ever hear back?

There's a solid chance that the people at the event are not with the people sending you the offer so they need a copy to double check before they submit your package to their own people for approval.
