Westfield High School Reviews
Rating 3.2 out of 5 593 reviews
Westfield HS has provided me with the necessary tools to face the new world, as I cross the threshold of my secondary school life onto my post-secondary school journey. In high school, I immersed myself in a vibrant tapestry of extracurriculars, balancing the agility of soccer with the artistry of theatre. On the field, I found camaraderie, discipline, and the thrill of competition, pushing boundaries and honing teamwork. The theatre became my sanctuary offstage, where I explored characters, emotions, and narratives, embracing vulnerability and creativity. Each pursuit shaped me, fostering resilience, empathy, and a multifaceted identity. Whether chasing a ball or embodying a role, I discovered the power of passion, dedication, and the invaluable lessons learned beyond the classroom's confines.
When I first started attending Westfield High School, my expectations were not too high. As I moved through grade levels, my expectations remained the same it was as if the school remained in stagnation for improvements for their facilities and staff. Most teachers live stressed as they have to cover for other classes due to teacher shortages, and some take it to other extremes by acting as irresponsible adults, causing them to get fired. This school needs to be improved, it needs a renovation.
Honestly wasn't there too long. The school & staff it's self is not completely terrible. Its just the kids and environment there. There is always unnecessary drama and dilemmas . The teachers I had freshman year were okay , half of them were great teachers and helped me understand the curriculum, but some teachers were as messy as the students .. But overall if you stay out of drama and pay attention in class the school should be a breeze
