Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Brilliant day out with the family. So much to do for little ones. Very very impressed with how clean and tidy everything is. Would 100% go back!

This was my second visit to Kitchen Coos & Ewes and I just love their friendly and informative tours. I am lucky enough to live right next to fold of Highland coos but it's still completely worth the trip to see this fabulous fold of amazing coos and their lovely farm. Neil is a friendly and informative host and the new guide (sorry forgot your name) was great and clearly getting to love these proper horned coos. Got some fabulous photos and really glad I came back, will probably be back again soon!

Proper old castle with a moat. Staff were helpful and friendly. Lovely walk down to the coast.
Some jobsworth has been around these sites and done a big teeth-sucking moment and gone into HealthAndSafty overdrive, closing parts or all of some sites and erecting scaffolding everywhere.

Great way to spend a few hours, the tour was very interesting with Ian and Juliette both very knowledgeable
Even the designated driver doesn’t miss out as they get a sample set to take home.

Crossed the border into Gretna Green just because, well, you have to. Never been before and it was worth the hour of our day to have a look around. Not at all tacky and genuinely quite an interesting visit, if only to say you've been.
The spurtle alone bought from the impressive gift shop made the day and it's been stirring everything I've cooked ever since that day. From casserole to curry, but sadly no porridge.

Very interesting tour as it is not owned by one of the big companies but a family ( more or less) owned one.
    Cafe also had good food.

Absolutely fabulous day out. It says on the website that it's a great day out and they aren't wrong. We planned to stay the morning but there was so much to do that it really did fill thd whole day. My son particularly enjoyed petting the rabbit, swinging on the rope into the hay stacks, the big slides and the choo choo ride. I must admit, I even enjoyed the choo choo ride.
The staff were all friendly and everything was well priced. Next time we're in Scotland we will deffinately visit again. Thank you

The gardens have an excellent visitor centre with a cafe and shop. I
Unfortunately we visited just after the rhododendrons had been at their best but there was still plenty to see.

Absolutley loved this place. The gardens were beautiful, the variety of plants and trees were awesome and we even stumbled on a dinosaur. The cafe food was delish
